Announcement
A vintage private mineral and gem collection started in the mid 1950s and never before made available for sale. Many items are from localities that have long been depleted. Some of them have been illustrated in books that I have written and which have become widely used reference sources, such as The Color Encyclopedia of Gemstones (1977 and 1987) and Gems and Jewelry (1975). The collection spans the globe in terms of species, color varieties and localities. Many rare and hard to find gemstones are also included.
