Poster is not 11x14 as advertised. It's more like 10x13. I bought this a while ago and still cannot find a pre matted frame to fit it just right. I may have to mat it myself. HOWEVER, this product is super awesome looking and I do love it. I will buy again.

About

It's About Food, Progress & Courage

"The Victory Garden of Tomorrow" is my poster design project that is committed to civic innovation and social progress — better food, better gardens, and better cities. Made for families, teachers, gardeners and world-changers these dozen or so poster illustrations are fun and inspiring. The whole collection, with its passion for empowerment and doing, make for great gifts to those Americans young and old who strive for health and progress.

I'm Joe Wirtheim and this project is something I craft in collaboration with others at my tiny, eco-conscious communication design studio in Portland, Oregon. I collaborate frequently with community groups, such as The Queen Anne Farmers Market in Seattle, the Just Food Conference in NYC, or the Funky Chicken Coop Tour in Austin. My posters do service for and are inspired by folks like these. I'm told I constantly over-use the word 'neat'.

About me: I'm originally from Dayton, Ohio where I first studied industrial engineering. I was 25 when I quit my engineering job to go back to school for graphic design at a community college. I painted houses and worked at a food co-op to make it happen. By 2007 I had begun making posters that were unconventional and spoke to an alternative narrative for Americans. I just saw things differently and I wanted to begin demonstrating something positive. A move to Portland enabled more school: a B.S. in Communication, Urban Studies and Journalism. And now a design studio.

This is a small, family owned print shop who know their stuff. They have great quality, fast turn-around and can help solve print problems and offer solutions. These guys have printed many of my poster illustrations and some business cards.

Payment
I accept Paypal, check or money order.

Please let me know if your payment will be delayed; I don't mind waiting. I know that Paypal can be a fuss at times.
Shipping
I ship prints in either a recycled cardboard stay-flat mailer envelope or a sturdy tube depending on order size. Each print is in its own clear plastic sleeve for protection.

If your print doesn't arrive within 2 weeks, send me a note and let me know it hasn't come yet. Sometimes, things really do just get lost in the mail. I'm always happy to send out a replacement.
Refunds and Exchanges
In general, if you are not satisfied with your order, or if it is damaged, let me know; I'm happy to issue a refund and don't mind doing so quickly.
Additional policies and FAQs
I do gift shipping! Just put a note in the message area when placing your order that you'd like this shipped to a different address, and also include that address.
