Announcement   Thank you for visiting my new Etsy store. I'm so thrilled to have found this way to reach people with an interest in handmade items.
After years of playing guitar and working with wood, my two passions collided in 1996 when I built my first guitar. I've been dedicated to the craft ever since. You can learn all about them at TillGuitars.com.
Each guitar I build starts with a 'Eureka!' moment that comes when I find incredibly beautiful and interesting pieces of wood. These moments can occur in lumberyards, thrift stores or garage sales. In fact, some of my finest guitars were made from recycled and re-purposed furniture. One medium-sized redwood burl coffee table can yield up to a dozen guitars.
In addition to my actual guitars, I'll be offering my handmade guitar related items here on Etsy, too. Guitar shaped light switch plates, wooden guitar stands, display cases...
Etsy has inspired me to expand my creative horizons and I look forward to presenting my ideas to you here.

Thank you again! I couldn't resist buying a second one to give for Christmas. They're so well made, I love them. And the fastest shipping.

Again, thank you for your interest in my handmade guitars and "guitraptions".
The fact that you're on Etsy.com says a lot of good things about you. We should all get together for a barbeque!
Though I'm new here, I've got all the necessary resources in place to ensure smooth transactions with you: A souped up G4 with a reliable highspeed connection, close proximity to all national delivery services and a well tuned woodshop where I can build both custom and "in-stock" items. This should be fun.

Accepted payment methods

  • Money Order
  • Check
Payment
I accept credit card payments through Paypal as well as personal checks and money orders.
For higher priced items such as my custom guitars I can be creative with payment schedules. All we need to do is communicate with each other.
Smaller gift items should be paid in full before delivery. They will ship within 3 days of securing your payment.
Shipping
I'll be offering many different items here on Etsy. Some large, some small. For the smaller stuff like my switchplates, the USPS should be adequate. Shipping costs will be posted on each item I offer.
How we ship my actual guitars will be a part of our discussion prior to any transaction. Among the choices for California buyers will be personal delivery. Otherwise, I have no preference among shipping companies.
Refunds and Exchanges
Because of the wide range of items I'll be offering you, I'm not able to come up with a blanket policy that covers everything. However, it's safe to say that should anything go wrong with what you buy as a result of my workmanship, I'll repair or replace it at no charge, provided that you return the original product to me.
As for my guitars, I expect us to have several lengthy discussions before you purchase one. I want us both to be certain that mine is the right guitar for you. During these conversations we'll hammer out all of the details regarding returns and refunds.
Additional policies and FAQs
I'm glad to build custom guitar orders. I'm even open to customizing already completed instruments. All you have to do is ask. You can find out much more about my guitar building at www.TillGuitars.com.
As for my gift items, yes, I'll be glad to do one-offs and small runs for you. Pricing will depend on the materials chosen as well as the quantity.
