5 out of 5 starsI love the little gingerbread kitty brooch that came to me all the way from the UK in a very short time. It's perfect and arrived wrapped for the holidays. I totally recommend this shop!

5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely fabulous sheep and fantastic seller, she can't do enough to help you and kept in contact the whole time, even by putting herself out to make me a brooch especially which is so cute.

About Me
I love making things, especially little cute things made out of felt and fabric and paper. I am a serial hoarder, I have so many bits and pieces that I just take out and look at, and then put away again! I have a degree in fine art (sculpture) but I haven't done much 'art' since leaving 10 years ago. I got back into photography almost a year ago when I got my first digital camera and take pictures most days now, I love it! My friend Chris makes beautiful beaded jewellery and accessories, and I have recently been helping her with her etsy site: http://echosofnature.etsy.com and her website (http://www.echosofnature.com/ - beautiful handmade jewellery). Then I discovered Etsy, and seeing all the lovely creations people have made has given me a renewed motivation to make things myself.
I called it Joey's Dream Garden because Joey is my real name, and I dream of a wonderful magical secret garden where lots of enchanting creatures live and play. There, I can be anything I want to be and do anything I want to do. Sometimes, it's soft and bright and sparkling, and the flowers glow and glisten in the happy sunshine. Then sometimes it's dark and warm and cosy and the air is filled with scents of honeysuckle and lavender. It's natural, surreal and calm. It's my heaven!
I will be happy to receive any questions on the terms below, please contact me if there is anything you are not sure of.
Have a nice time browsing my shop and thanks for visiting!

Returns and exchanges
I am completely confident about the design and high quality of the items I make and I pay a lot of attention to detail. They do have a handmade, quirky quality which is their special charm, and makes them different to factory-produced goods. Please study all the pictures of each item to be sure of what you are ordering, as I cannot give any refunds if you change your mind after purchase.
Lost Items/Damaged Package on Receipt
I package all items very securely, and I am not responsible if your package is damaged on receipt. You can claim up to £34.00 (GPB) (roughly $68.67 (USD) if the package is lost or damaged when you receive it - this is the compensation amount set by Royal Mail. This is the same for items sent either by First Class or Airmail anywhere in the world. If you do not receive your package, or if the packaging is damaged when received (and has damaged the item in the process, e.g. torn apart or something), let me know as soon as possible if you would like me to make the claim on your behalf. I will refund your payment and shipping cost, but only up to £34 (approx. $68 USD). If you wish to make the claim yourself, please contact me for the Proof of Posting, which I will be able to send to you so you can complete the claim form from the Post Office. These are downloadable on the Royal Mail website.
Please ensure that you read the item description for suitability for children. Generally, anything with beads or sequins or pin-fastenings should not be given to children under 3 years.
If your item is faulty on receipt, please CONTACT ME WITHIN 3 DAYS OF RECEIVING IT. Then you will need to return the item to me. If the item is able to be repaired, I will repair and return the item to you, all at no extra cost to you. When you post the item back, please obtain a proof of posting certificate, then I will refund your shipping cost. If I cannot repair the item, I will offer a replacement of your choice (bearing in mind that although I will try to give you an exact replacement, it may differ slightly in design as each item is 'one of a kind'), again at no extra cost to you (unless the replacement is of greater cost than the item to be replaced, then you will pay the difference).
Payment
Shipping
UK - within one to two working days.
Rest of Europe - within three working days.
Rest of the world - Royal Mail states that packages sent via airmail will ensure they reach their destination within five working days, however in my experience this is not a realistic estimate ~ your package can take at least 2 weeks and sometimes 3 weeks to reach you, so please bear this in mind. Also please note that Royal Mail will not handle a claim for loss of packages until at least 28 days have passed since the posting date.
If you require faster delivery, please contact me and I will advise you of the revised shipping cost.
Shipping More Than One Item
If you prefer me to send your items in separate packages (if you are worried about things getting lost in the post), please let me know as I will have to send you a revised invoice for additional shipping costs.
Extra Insurance for Shipping
If your purchase comes to more than $68, and you wish your item to be insured, please contact me for a revised shipping cost.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please see each individual item about how it will be packaged. I use new jiffy envelopes, so if you would prefer me to use a recycled one, please let me know in the "message to seller" when you checkout.
Personalised Packaging
I can include the name of the recipient (so, your name or someone else's if the item will be given as a gift) on the packaging of each item at no extra cost. If you would like this, please let me know what name you would like to be included when you buy the item. I can also include a couple of words like "Happy Birthday" etc.
