About

My name is Jogita Kristina. I live in Riga but I spend a lot of time in my country side home in Vecsaule, where under an old oak tree I have my studio.
Recently organized my pottery studio and now I try to develop it. I hope that my Etsy shop will help with that.
For now, in my daily life, I’m an accountant but I also study pottery in the Art Academy of Latvia. I started working in my studio only recently and I need a lot of work to do to create a comfortable place to work and a lot of ideas to create.
In the study process, I found out I like experimenting, for example, trying different ceramic firing methods and creating new glazes.
One of many things I want to study is ancient pottery, the creating methods, firing, and glazing.
One day I would love to make pottery as my daily life and a main source of income.

Important about my ceramics packaging.

I truly care and feel a responsibility to our planet, so I'm aiming for zero waste living.
That is why I wish to pack my ceramic artwork in recyclable packaging.
If it's possible, I use recycled shoe boxes or another kind of boxes.

If you wish it to be wrapped in a gift box, then please give me a message.
