Great item! Measurements were as listed, shipping was incredibly fast!
I bought my first vintage dress at a thrift store when I was 16 years old, and I wore it until it literally fell apart over ten years later. I've always enjoyed the thrill of the hunt in thrift stores and estate sales. I can't resist pulp paperbacks; cookbooks; vintage Pyrex; photos of Adele Astaire; and anything art deco.
I was born and raised in New Orleans, and I lived there for three decades. I earned a BA in English from Loyola University and have no idea if this was any use during my subsequent years as a supervisor at Tower Records in the French Quarter. I also worked for Barbie Bazaar magazine as a writer and photographer, and established a good reputation as a vintage Barbie dealer.
I left home in 2003 to travel around Europe, and settled in West Hollywood when I returned to the States. Much to my surprise, I love it here. I am living the dream in a 1924 Spanish bungalow courtyard (supposedly home to James Cagney, once upon a time).
My personal vintage wardrobe was always evolving over the years, and I started selling second-hand clothing online when I moved to L.A. The thrift stores and yard sales around here are fantastic! Johnny Bombshell has been a full-time registered business since 2005. I sell vintage clothing on Etsy & contemporary designer clothing on eBay (my store name is Johnny Bombshell).

PLEASE NOTE: All measurements are of the garment itself, not of the body that will fit inside it! Measurements are taken with the garment lying flat; that number is doubled for the bust, waist, and hips.
Etsy does not have a "block" system like eBay, and hopefully it will never need one. However, I do reserve the right to refuse service at my discretion. If someone has given me a difficult time (late or no payments, frequent returns, etc) on my other selling sites, I may decide not to do business with him or her here on Etsy.
