Announcement    Shipping and processing and the COVID-19 coronavirus.

Starting on 8 May, I am reopening to new orders.

In order to minimise the amount of contact I have with others (to keep everyone as safe as possible), there are some restrictions on what is available and how quickly orders will be shipped.

Which prints are available?

I am open to orders for any prints that I have in stock.

At this time I will not be taking new orders for prints that are not held in stock. This is so that I do not need to put my local printer at greater risk by requiring him to process new print orders for me.

The shop has been updated with the latest stock numbers so if a print shows as available to purchase then it is in stock and ready to go.

When will orders be shipped?

I will only be posting orders twice a week. Please be aware that this means that it may take a little longer for your print to reach you.

All orders placed from Friday until midnight on Monday will be processed and posted on Tuesday.

All orders placed from Tuesday until midnight on Thursday will be processed and posted on Friday.

Thank you for your understanding.

About JonStubbingtonArt

Sales 146
On Etsy since 2016

Hi! I'm Jon.

I make colourful original artwork for people who love the coast and the landscapes of Britain.

I live and work on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and I began this shop with a set of Dartmoor prints as part of a series of digital paintings of Devon. The collection is now expanding to include other areas I love, so keep checking back as new designs are added regularly.

My FAQs answer some of the questions you may have about how I produce my artwork. Please get in touch if you have a question I haven't answered.

Shop members

  • Jon Stubbington

    Owner

I am the illustrator and artist who runs Jon Stubbington Art. All print and poster designs are my own original creations, based on the places that I love to visit around our beautiful country.

Production partners

  • A Local Printer

    Storrington, England

A Local Printer are an eco-printing specialist who produce my one-off, bespoke, and on-demand prints. That is, those items that are printed in small quantities and/or are printed on-demand when ordered through this shop.

  • Ashley House Printing Company

    Exeter, England

Ashley House print the A4-sized Devon prints I hold in stock. I send the final image to Ashley House in Exeter. They print it onto recycled paper using an HP Indigo digital press. The prints are then shipped back to me to be packaged into their protective sleeves, ready for distribution.

  • Sherewood Gallery

    Ashburton, England

Sherewood Gallery are a local print and photography business in Ashburton, where I live and work. They print my designs onto A4 or A3 paper for me to package and send out. I am in the process of phasing in Sherewood Gallery as my print supplier as existing stocks run out.

Frequently asked questions
What packaging do you use?

My cards and A4 prints are all packaged in a clear sleeve made from corn starch. These biodegradable bags are also supplied by Eco-Craft. They are fully compostable and should break down in around 45 days.

I am not currently able to source biodegradable sleeves that are large enough for my range of A3 prints. Instead, these are rolled and shipped in a recycled cardboard tube.

Cards and A4 prints are usually posted flat in (recycled and recyclable) board-backed envelopes. (Alternative packaging may be used for larger orders of cards.)

How are your products made?

All of my designs are created by me. Most are drawn entirely digitally in Photoshop, however some are created in pen on paper, and some are a combination of the two.

All designs end up as a digital painting which is then professionally printed to ensure a high quality finish.

My posters are printed by a couple of local print companies. I then package and send the prints to you.

If you have any questions about the production process, please drop me a message and I will be happy to help.
