Jordandené is a home + apparel brand for the everyday geek

Jordandené started as a fun way to put a nerdy twist on traditional vintage goods. Our first product, the geek chic apron, makes all normally-mundane household tasks a little better. Even the worst chores (dishes!) are a little better if you can do them as Batman or R2D2, right?

Not wanting to be confined to the kitchen, we now make all kinds of subtly geeky products that appeal to our nerdy insides but aren’t too extreme for everyday life. Our focus is combining a few of our favorite things with good design and high quality materials. No cheap plastic, comic sans, or boxy graphic tees here.

We’d be lying if we said settling in Brooklyn didn’t affect the way we do business. We try to keep our process as eco-friendly as possible, from the inks we choose to the way we package our products. We’ve also adapted the strong community aspect of city living. We love working with other local businesses and strive to always take care of our partners and our customers.

This shop started as a creative outlet to keep myself busy between nannying part time and taking care of my tiny Brooklyn apartment. Now I'm lucky enough to be working here full time. Everything in my shop is handmade in Brooklyn and designed by myself or my much nerdier and more talented husband (or a combination of both). I love having original, well-designed items that can't be found anywhere else!

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Returns and exchange details
Please read my item descriptions carefully -- each item should be clearly listed with the type of materials used, size measurements, and all other pertinent information. The envelopes used for shipping are water, tear, and dirt resistant and should bring all purchases to you safely. Hopefully you will have no reason to request a refund or return, but my first concern is your happiness so please message me with any issues and I'll do what I can to help!
Payment
PayPal and credit cards are the best ways to make purchases, but I will also accept money orders and personal checks.
Shipping
All of my products ship out in eco-friendly and reusable polymer bags from Brooklyn, New York.

Unfortunately I cannot guarantee arrival dates: I can guarantee the day I will ship out and the type of shipping I will use, and then we have to trust the USPS to do their job well. Please message me for rush order requests and I will do what I can (additional charge may apply)!
