Announcement   Looking for wooden cooking tools, bowls, and funky sculptures for your home? Check out my unique handcrafted items made from found and recycled materials.

My wood comes from fallen trees, my firewood pile, roadsides, and beaches.

For my cooking tool line I carve utensils and carve or turn bowls on a lathe. All invite touch and are deliciously finished; this includes multiple sanding and buffing stages ending with a food safe walnut oil and carnauba wax polish. Follow my care instructions and you can enjoy them as heirlooms.

My sculpture line is typically assemblages combining the residue of human and natural activity (meaning junk and fallen vegetation). These sculptures are whimsical without being cute and interesting enough keep around for a lifetime.

I am a long time artist living in a cabin in forest on an island smack dab in the middle of Lake Washington, which is surrounded by metropolitan Seattle and Bellevue Washington.
