Absolutely gorgeous print with beautiful rich colours. I purchased as a digital image and took to my local photo print/art shop for the print. I followed the seller’s advice re paper and ink to get the best quality print and I was really pleased with the results. The shop actually commented on the quality of the digital image. A beautiful joyful colourful piece of art and great communication with the artist. Thank you 💚

I have purchased a Digital File, Now what?

I started making Art late in life and its been quite a journey, thinking back on the early (lots of scribbles!) days. Nature has always been my source of inspiration, along with a love of colour (who doesn't share that?) and with a leaning towards design, found my 'niche', and for the time being at least, am happily stuck on whimsical Bird designs and Naive Landscape. Living in a country with sadly, an unreliable postal service, I realized that selling my Art as digital Images would reach a market that I otherwise could not.
Some info on the PRINTING side that will help you get the most out of your digital purchase...A few tips, PAPER Quality - if you want lasting, non yellowing Prints go for Acid Free Paper, and the best of these is 100%Cotton.. PRINT and INK Quality - If you want the best quality Print, go for Inkjet/Giclee/Pigment. (That means sprayed on) This ink lasts for 80 years and more, and gives the widest colour range. this article, see link, is helpful - https://lfp.canon.ca/resources/protect-your-pics-by-understanding-acid-free-and-archival-paper/ Laser Printing, which is comparatively inexpensive, is actually quite good, I have had successful prints using Laser Printing and the prints last long, 10 or 20 years, kept out of direct Sun.. Once again, an acid free Art Paper is best, and in my opinion, looks best. If you're not sure where to start, try your local Photo Print Shop. If they cant do Pigment Ink, they will direct you to someone who can. I hope you enjoy the process, and thank you for your interest in my work!
