josiegoestopot's Shop Policies
Thank you for your interest in my work.
Every piece I make is unique, one of a kind.
For me, nothing tastes better than a cup of morning tea poured from my handmade pot into my handmade cup. I hope you feel the same after you use my pieces.
I use many techniques to make my work. Some pieces are thrown and altered and some are constructed from flat slabs. As I come from a textile background you will usually see tiny stitch marks "sewing" the piece together. I make my own stamps but also have been known to use Indian textile block stamps to imprint my work. Recently I've been inlaying colored clay to create patterns on my work. I use only food safe glazes. I fire to mid range temperatures (cone 5-6) to give my work strength. Everything is made to be used and enjoyed.
I accept payment via Paypal.
I must charge sales tax on your purchase.
I can ship anywhere in the USA. For now I would prefer not to ship outside of the US. Let me know if this is a problem and I am sure we can work out something.
I use UPS, FED X or the US Postal service - whichever best suits your needs and the needs of your package. I insure the packages if they are over $100.
Shipping and handling charges are listed in the description of each piece.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to love the pieces you receive from me. If you are not happy with your purchase please let me know within five days of receiving your items and we can work out a refund or exchange. You will be responsible for return shipping and for packing the items so that they arrive undamaged back to me.
Additional Policies and FAQs
I do not sell my work on consignment.
As I have limited production capabilities I am also not seeking wholesale orders.
