Hello!! My name is Diane Cooper and I live in the small sleepy town of Beaverton 1 hr north of Toronto. We moved into a little fixer upper cottage right on the lake. I have manifested my dream location. I am soothed by the lake waters daily and the spectacular sunsets in the evening.

I have been a floral artist for over 15 years now...hard to believe as it feels like yesterday I picked up my first brush. My artwork came later in life as I spent many many years in a gym as a professional athlete..never thinking once about painting.

However it must be in my blood. My mother Josie loved to craft..she taught me to knit and crochet and I remember her enjoying paint by numbers kits. Unfortunately, by the time I picked up painting she was already into her alzheimer and couldn't appreciate what I was doing.

Painting, as in all of God's timing, helped me ease the stress of caregiving and took me into another world. For those caring for loved ones you know of what I speak.

I love gardening as well and pink roses are my signature flower. No idea why...but my paint brush and creativity loves doing those the most. So I go with it...that is my corner of this beautiful fabric of life we create.
