I had been thinking that working on an old typewriter for my writing projects would not only be charming, but a fabulous distraction-free option.

Finally, in the late summer of 2018, I started hunting for typewriters, not having any clue what was out there.

I discovered several truly magnificent pieces - at truly magnificent prices!! And then I found several that were super cheap, but needed a lot of work. Being entrepreneurial minded, I asked my husband what he thought about fixing up typewriters. He likes to hunt for a good deal and if he would be willing to clean it up and get them working, maybe we could have a business.

So we thought, "Why not?" and bought three typewriters for dirt cheap. Next thing we knew, the typewriters sold immediately!

What started out as a, "we'll see what happens", turned into a business so fast that we are running to keep up!

Rob's repair and servicing skills improve with each typewriter and we are thrilled to have found a business that suits us very well. I've met many wonderful folks and both Rob and I are very thankful for something we can do together that is not only enjoyable, but a source of additional income for our family.
