This was the perfect gift for my butter-on-toast-loving brother! Toasted Marshmallow is a beautiful rustic lively glaze, a great match to their kitchen. Quick delivery! Thanks so much!

John + Jess, a juicy combination.

Having graduated in May of 2010, we decided to take a leap of faith and move to a place where we had never been, didn't know anybody, and had no employment. Arriving in Austin, Texas by mid-August, our dynamic pair began working two jobs each in retail.

By December of 2010, a creative outlet was in dire need. Taking inspiration from a pioneering friend, jpear Design (John + Jess, a pair of j's, get it?) opened shop with a few experimental works in jewelry.

The spring found us taking clay classes (Jess has been throwing for years, John does his best). Early May at First Thursdays in downtown Austin was our first real life appearance. That show forced us to become a serious business and propelled us into the summer.

Ceramics became our staple. In August of 2011 we began taking in and giving new life to discarded furniture as well as developing our own designs and custom works.

Gradually we are figuring out how to keep pushing our creative talents while always striving for the best quality of craftsmanship. We have found that we have different styles, but that they play very well off of each other.

We believe that our passion for design is reflected in our work and that each piece we make is a piece of ourselves. We love sharing this love with the world and we hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do!

We accept PayPal and direct credit checkout.
We ship as quickly as possible for the least amount possible. Jewelry and small things arrive via USPS flat rate mail. Ceramics are more difficult due to the wide variety in size, shape, and weight. We do everything we can to pack them safely, but alas, ceramic work does not travel well. We do not ship furniture at this time (due to extreme costs).
Refunds and Exchanges
We take pride in our work and how it is experienced by our patrons. Please do not hesitate to contact us if something is not to your liking and we can work together on a solution.
Additional policies and FAQs
All of our pieces are unique when they are initially posted. If you see something that you like in our 'sold' listings or our facebook photos archive, let us know! We will do our best to recreate it as shown or with any desired adjustments if at all possible.

Requests for designs, whatever the technique or media, are very welcome. We enjoy collaboration and exploration. We are doing this for the challenge of growing our creative skills and using them to make people happy.

Feedback is always welcome. Suggestions, constructive criticism, and input help us grow and we appreciate that.

We offer free shipping within Austin city limits. Send us a message with your address, and we will forward the free shipping code.
