Reality Meets Imagination..

I've always dabbled in the art world in some way - a painter and a writer - but it wasn't until 2003 that I picked up a camera and realized it was what I had been looking for to express my creative side in the way I imagined.

(We're not going to mention that my father was a photographer and I just sort of didn't "think" about that outlet until I was older).

When I look through the viewfinder I see things that others might not - whether it's a certain perspective, an emotion, or a story of some kind. I try - with my photography - to capture the dream world I spent my childhood years hiding in.

In 2010 I quit my day job as a newspaper photographer to sell my art online and in galleries.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, I now live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with my husband and scattered close by (within walking distance) are my four grown children and my five grandchildren.
