This little lamb is really a work of art. I know the price seems a little high but it is worth every penny. I received it very quickly and you will love it. I hope to get the second one when I can.

Words cannot describe the joy on my daughters face when she opened this lamb on Christmas morning. It is adorable. Well made, lovingly packaged and every detail is simply beautiful. Thank you!!! I'm sure we will be ordering more. (My little Bo peep seems to want a flock now!!)

Hand made Soft Sculpture Original Lambs, Ewes, Sheep
Hello, my name is Judy Elizabeth and I live on a ranch. I raised sheep on our ranch for 16 years. In 1984 I designed a soft sculpture pattern for ewes and lambs and began making different sizes beginning with a Christmas tree ornament. The lambs were designed after my favorite ewe, Jena (pronounced Jenna) – Jena was a white-faced ewe with long black lashes and freckles on her nose. I had a whole lot of bums (so called because they have no mom and have to "bum" their meals) one year because of an attack by dogs on my flock -- so I became a mom to these little critters. I named them all starting with the letter "A" to keep track of them. When I first began making my little lambs, each and every one came with a name from my flock unless the buyer wanted to personally name the lamb. This can still be done with the lambs ordered. The back of my tag/card is blank and I can hand script names in that area. The only lambing I do now is with a needle and thread!
My registered trademark is Judy Elizabeth's Flock. I have copyrights and design patterns on my soft sculpture sheep.
Judy Elizabeth’s flock of sheep are both white-faced or black-faced (just as my original flock of real sheep were). All of the soft sculpture lambs/ewes are hand assembled and sewn by me. The lambs/ewes can be made with polyester sherpa bodies or with real merino wool bodies. The lambs/ewes with the real wool bodies will cost more because of the cost of the wool fabric and the time it takes to create them. Their little bodies need to be hand stitched together instead of by machine. The higher the pile on the wool the more time it takes to stitch on the little ears and legs!
Each lamb/ewe is put together with love and care. The sherpa fabric is washed and dried prior to sewing. Lambs/ewes made from the merino wool fabric -- I take the fabric and wash and dry it several times to get the effect I want for the pelts. Each lamb/ewe has their own personality and look -- no two are the same. The lambs are created in my home with no smoking or pets near the product.
The lambs/ewes come in five (5) different sizes or can be custom made in any size. All lambs/ewes come with the story of "Jena the Gentle Ewe". Lambs/ewes can come with a range of different colored bows: pink, red, green, light blue, dark blue, lavender, purple, peach, yellow and turquoise. The bow card/tag that comes with each lamb/ewe has the same colored bow as the lamb/ewe. The card/tag can be personalized with a name hand scripted on the back side of the card.
I spend hours assembling, stuffing "just so", adding lashes and eye lids, ears, legs, etc. All lambs stand on their own except for my Cuddle Lambs. All lambs come with felt bows and a bell around their necks. Lamb number 1 stands alone, but can also come with a gold cord hanger if someone wants it for an ornament (ask if you would like the hanger, it can always be removed without any effect to the lamb if you decide you don't want it).
