Colorful treasures and one of a kind jewelry.
Jewelry maker from the beginning, not necessarily a wearer
My jewelry making career started when I was about 6 years old. I was playing in our basement and found some extra, colorful electrical wires hanging out at my Dad's work bench. My sister and I started wire wrapping rings and sculptures. (Great for pretending to get married or creating people for our plays.)
Friend's Lapidary, broaden my jewelry horizon to "real" beads that were made out of glass and semi-precious stones. At the time I was making earrings and rings for friends and family members, since I refused to wear jewelry.
Then, I met Alice, the owner of the former Beadazzles in Atlanta, and she taught me how to crimp and that there is a WHOLE RAINBOW of seed beads out there just waiting to be used like paint on a canvas. There was no turning back from that point.
I even started working at a bead store and teaching classes, while I was in graduate school. I still don't wear much jewelry but I keep making it, teaching, and learning new techniques.
My intention is that by selling my unique jewelry on Etsy it will be worn and enjoyed!

I love playing with colors and creating unique jewelry that people will actually wear!
