I love this workshop. I signed up for my second right after the first session ended. Julia is fantastic.

My go-to gift these days, one I highly recommend, especially for those seeking glimpses of beauty and grace. Though Julia's poetic voice is assuredly her own, the evocativeness and accessibility of it reminds me of the beloved Mary Oliver. Julia also takes the time to personally inscribe each book, adding a personal touch that further cements her connection to her reader. As you can see, I am a fan.

Julia Fehrenbacher's poems are exercises in reverent observation. They have a conversational nearness, a familiar newness, that accentuate a profound serenity of soul and an unswerving spiritual candour. We find in these poems, time and time again, receptivity to what the holy Now offers; we are reminded that "grace" is kin to "gratitude" not only in etymology. When the speaker of her poems sips with reverence from a simple cup of water, or kisses an awakening earth with bare feet, we are with her. We participate in her awe before the majestic simple things, before the numinous dailiness of life. One might make bold to say that the meditations in Staying in Love are not merely poems, but furthermore are ceremonies honoring a divinity that does not scowl or threaten, but embraces and beckons. Thank you, Julia!

Most mornings I'll sit with the sunrise, a cup of coffee and Julia's book of poetry. Her words have a beautiful power to lift my heart and remind me to be present and stay in love. Thank you Julia for the most precious gift of your poems.
