Announcement   I'm back! I have reopened my Etsy shop and am now selling both hand embroidered and regular zippered pouches, perfect for knitting projects or any other special things.

Each piece is an original design, entirely hand embroidered (specific bags) (not machine embroidered!), designed, and sewn by me, and handmade in Michigan. One of a kind on Etsy - original design and concept! Each item is unique, and carefully and creatively constructed! I use only sturdy, quality home decor fabric or designer fabric, not thin cotton fabric.

Would you like a custom made bag? No problem ... Just convo me and let's make it happen!

***International customers - due to the rise in USPS shipping costs, I've had to raise my overseas shipping costs! If the actual cost of shipping is less, I will promptly refund the difference. I'm sorry for the extra expense!

About

I love thread!

I am first and foremost a wife, mom, new nana, and former home educator. My artistic side has always been a deep part of who I am and now it is finding its full voice. My Etsy shop has been such a wonderful adventure -- meeting people from all over the world and working with them to bring my art into their lives and homes.

I have been working and creating with my hands for as long as I can remember -- crocheting, knitting, cross stitching, embroidering, writing, and sewing. I love learning new skills and delight to experiment with color combinations and palettes. I love thread and needles - embroidery thread, silk thread, cottons, wools, knitting needles and crochet hooks, tapestry needles ....oh! So enticing!

I started making gadget sleeves for myself several years ago, in order to protect my new little iPod. I experimented with several styles and folds, zippers, elastics, and velcro, and finally created a pattern and style that worked. I decided the fabric I used needed a little pop and so stitched some embellishments on and it began. My daughter soon needed a sleeve, too, then others said they'd like some, and I decided to dive in to selling them here. I made sleeves for all gadgets and laptops for 5 years.

My big boost (my "Oprah Moment") came when the Pioneer Woman featured my shop on her blog. That day, I nearly sold out my shop and received over 50 custom orders. Things haven't slowed down since! I can't wait to see what comes next!

I am now transitioning my shop and projects to embroidered knitting project zippered pouches!! I love knitting and found these little project bags are fabulous for toting around my many WIPs (works in progress!). Can't wait to make one for you!

I'm a wife, a mama of four lovely girls, and a new nana. I am also an artist. My art flows from the joy I find in my life and the roles I delight in. I am obsessed with thread, fiber, fabric, colors and beauty.

Indeed....welcome! I am thankful for you taking the time to visit my shop, browse through my items, and view my policies. I love what I do and what I make. Each item is made carefully and is given my full attention and best effort. I am the sole creator of these items (unless noted) and simply want to share my passion with others!

My passion is fiber art and I LOVE to create. All items are one of a kind and ready to ship. I have tried to show clear pictures in each listing. If you would like more, please convo me and I'd be happy to oblige!
