Jewelry. I love to wear it, to make it, to shop for supplies.
And mostly I love it when someone sees something I've made for someone else and says, "Ooohh, I want one of those!
While making jewelry first started for me as a way to have a necklace in specific colors that I couldn't find anywhere else, it quickly blossomed into one of my favorite things to do. (Really, it borders on OCD!)
I am mostly self-taught, but I have taken quite a number of jewelry making classes - stringing, wire work, soldering, and metalsmithing.
My studio (or workroom) is a spare bedroom in my home. In addition to making jewelry for my store, I also repair jewelry for customers referred to me by a local bead store.
Pearls are my passion - freshwater, glass, crystal - it doesn't matter. And gemstones. Oh my!
I love working with metals, especially sterling silver and fine silver. I hope to add some rings, bracelets and geometric earring designs to my store very soon.
And I sew. But that's another story and another that I just opened.
I am the sole owner, designer, buyer and photographer for my store. And the magic happens all over my home - one room for making jewelry and sewing, part of one as an office, and another for storage and photography. Everything you see in my shop is made by my hands and shipped from my studio/work room directly to you, From the initial concept, to searching for just the right components, to creating and photographing each piece, it all happens right here.
All items are handmade with love and attention to detail so you will have a great experience with my jewelry. I take extra care and attention with all my work. I am very passionate about providing quality work. My goal is a quality product that is just what my customer wants. I want you to be happy with your purchase.
If something in my shop or sold items sparks an idea for something specific, please contact me through Etsy to see if I can make it for you.
If you are giving an item to someone as a gift, leave a note to me at checkout and I will happily NOT include a receipt with the package.
