About

Welcome to my Etsy shop!

I started making jewellery when I left school, and I still remember the first piece of jewellery that I made, and the positive comments that it received. People asked where I had bought it, and when I told them that I had made it, some orders resulted. Little did I know that the simple necklace would result in a lifetime of making jewellery!

In 2005 I started making my own glass beads (wow, has it been that long)? I wanted to make my jewellery more unique, and after doing a glass beadmaking workshop on Kangaroo Island, my world lit up with new ideas!

In 2009 I started making the glass beads from recycled glass sources like broken wine/beer bottles and other glass objects. This has been a very interesting journey, experimenting with recycled glass, pushing the boundaries. I especially like it when people ask me to make beads and jewellery for them from old glass that they have kept. I happily accept custom orders, so please feel free to contact me to discuss this if you are interested.

My studio is in my home, which is currently Murray Bridge, South Australia.

Welcome to my shop on Etsy! I

Modern, timeless, colourful glass bead jewellery.

You might have noticed that I design and make two styles of jewellery - recycled glass beads and Italian glass beads!

For the recycled glass bead jewellery, I make a lot of the beads from beer and wine bottles. I have also made jewellery using other people's glass bottles/objects. I enjoy making custom orders, please start a conversation with me if you would like to do this.

For the Italian glass beads, I use glass imported from Italy. The glass comes in a range of beautiful colours, and again, I am happy to make any of the jewellery that you see in my shop in other colours. Simply start a conversation with me.

Additional policies and FAQs
I make your work to order, which is why it takes me a couple of days to get the work in the post. This means that what I send you might be slightly different from what you see in the photo. Remember though, you are buying a handmade item that has been made especially for you.

I am happy to take custom orders. Please start a conversation with me! In particular I would love to make beads and jewellery from any special occasion bottles that you may have e.g. wine bottle from your wedding. Or, if you see some jewellery in the shop that you like, but you would prefer a different colour...convo me.
