About

My work -shop- story

My passion for jewellery-making began in 2006 after enrolling at my local College for a 2 year jewellery course. The following years, I enrolled for many other jewellery-making courses offered by various London schools and colleges. I soon realized that I was spending a lot of money in these courses, sometimes just to be able to use the workshop. So I decided to spend this money in tools and converted part of my living room into a workshop. A friend helped me to build a bench out of an old chest of drawers and some old cupboard doors. Slowly, slowly my workshop took shape. I soon started to spend all my spare time in my workshop creating new pieces of jewellery. Friends and relatives recommended that I start selling some of my work on etsy. In 2011 I finally opened my etsy shop.

All jewellery are individually handmade from scratch using traditional techniques so as to create contemporary one-off piece of jewellery, each piece is unique. My jewellery are designed to be comfortable for every day wear, but also elegant and can be worn for special occasions. Inspired by nature, their pure, simple, organic shapes can be worn by everyone.
The materials used in my jewellery are principally sterling silver and 18ct (white, yellow and red) gold which I often combine with semi-precious and precious stones to add colour and contrast.
