Vibrant colors, especially love the details that emerge as I study it. It was sent in a flat package, unrolled, and arrived in perfect condition. My one concern was that I had to carefully trim over an inch from the top and bottom so that it would fit in my 11x14 frame. (The original mat in which it arrived required a 16x20 frame, but that would have made the piece too large for the otherwise perfect space.) But that was my choice and doesn't detract from the fine quality of the print.

In the Art Room At Camp. I love teaching as much as I love creating!
This is a picture from my recent solo show at the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art
I run art making programs and mural projects for communities and schools.
I do all my art doll work by hand, without patterns, so each piece is a one of a kind original.
Much of my work is based on Jewish rituals and traditions, made with vibrant colors and bold shapes.

Art is My World, Come Join Me!

Art has been a huge part of my world ever since I was young. My mother and grandmother were both artists. They filled my childhood with paint, ceramics, fabrics, and most importantly, time and space for creativity. I spent my time creating my own art and watching my mother sell her hand painted clothes out of our basement. I learned to love everything about creating.

Alongside my full time work as a Jewish parenting and family educator, I am an author/illustrator working primarily on resources to benefit Jewish families, schools and synagogues. I also run communal art making workshops. I create art on commission, I paint, I draw, I sew and make art dolls.

I have lived in many places in my life. I’m from Michigan and I have lived in London, New York City, Jerusalem, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and I now live in Annapolis Maryland with my husband and our two boys.

Art and art creation is a central theme in my life. I am so grateful to be able to share it with you. If you have an idea, or if you would like something special or particular, please feel free to contact me. I love to make commissions and to personalize my work to meet your needs.
