I purchased this as a birthday gift for someone. The shipping was quick and the crate was a beautiful blue color as the pictured showed. After some TLC was good as new. Unfortunately, the crate was just too small to store records as that was my intent for the purchase. Still love it over all, and a few records were able to be stored at an angle. Thanks!!

Can the shipping costs be reduced?

The shipping costs are estimates based on the size and weight of the item. Etsy calculates the shipping according to these variations, as well as your location. I will be happy to re-examine the calculations for you, but, in most cases, the shipping price is correct. If there is a shipping overage of $1.50 or more beyond covering the shipping materials, it will be refunded to you after your item has shipped.

Are your prices negotiable?

Depending on how long I've had an item and what I have invested in it, I may offer a discount and always entertain friendly, reasonable offers on my merchandise.

What days do you ship? When can I expect my package?

The days I ship vary from week to week, so I can't give you an exact schedule. But, I try to ship every Monday and Friday. Your parcel will go out in a maximum of 3 to 5 business days from your purchase, unless there are extreme extenuating circumstances.

If I need to get an item to you in a rush, I will make every effort to get it out to you whenever necessary. Convo me about any special needs you might have

Most listings quote the cheapest (and often slowest) shipping for the item. You can upgrade to faster shipping during check-out. Expect your package to arrive at a time dependent on the shipping mode selected during your purchase--anywhere from 2-9 days from the shipping date (not the date of purchase).

What is the international shipping cost? Can international packages be tracked?

Shipping costs to most countries are in the "Shipping & Policies" section of the listings. Simply click under "Shipping to" and choose your country to get the price. I no longer ship to every country. If your country is not listed, it may be an error, but I may not ship there due to recent problems.

Once I have packed your parcel and have a final weight and size, I will know the exact shipping cost. If you have overpaid on shipping I will refund the overage to you after your package goes out.

Tracking and delivery confirmation are not available to all countries. Tracking follows the package until it leaves the United States, after which tracking stops. I cannot control this situation in any way.

Will you reserve an item for me?

I will reserve an item for 3 days, but I might extend this if you have a compelling reason. If an item isn't purchased during the agreed upon time frame, it will be taken off reserve. Please keep in mind that when an item is on reserve for you, it is unavailable to other buyers. If you realize you won't purchase an item that has been put on reserve for you, please notify me ASAP, so that I can make it available to other shoppers again.

Do you combine shipping?

I combine shipping whenever possible. The final cost depends on the combined weight and size of the items purchased. To combine shipping, purchase all items and the overage will be refunded to you within a day of the package being weighed and shipped.

This is the fastest, easiest, best and ONLY WAY that I will combine shipping. But, I am happy to do it. You can be assured of a rapid overage refund.

Do you refund shipping overages?

Yes. I work hard to make the shipping prices as accurate as possible, but they are estimates, calculated by Etsy. Once I have packed your parcel and have a final weight and box size, I will know the exact shipping cost. If the overage is over $1.50, I will refund it. Usually my shipping charges are less than $1 off--sometimes over and sometimes under the actual amount, because Etsy does the calculations for me. If you think you should have received an overage refund and didn't, please let me know and I will double check for you. Sometimes it can be overlooked.

Do you accept returns, exchanges or cancellations?

No, I do not accept returns, exchanges or cancellations. My items generally have flaws from age and are sold as-is. However, I do follow all laws of the countries I ship to. If you live in a country which requires returns, you must inform me within 14 days of receipt of the item that you must return it. Please DO NOT ORDER IF YOU THINK YOU MAY WISH TO RETURN AN ITEM. It is a very costly proposition for small businesses, most operating part-time out of spare bedrooms. The fear of these laws is the major reason many online sellers don't ship internationally. We simply don't have the resources to absorb the costs of international returns. I do ship internationally, but also ask that you please be kind to me.

Will my parcel be insured?

Almost all fragile items will be insured, although those of a low value may not be. See below the item description to find out. Please contact me with any questions or concerns. Everything is packed with great care and damage is extremely rare. If your purchase is damaged, save all packaging and the item. I will file the insurance claim for you. You will need to submit photos and an affidavit when contacted by the insurance company. You may be required to surrender the broken item to the insurer. Insurance payouts may take up to 30 days. But, again, this situation is very rare.

Do you have any other policies I should be aware of?

If your package is sent to an incorrect address you provided, it comes back to me for other similar reasons or is simply never shipped through your fault, the following policies apply to you. You will be responsible for any return fees charged to me by the post office. To receive your package, you will need to provide a different address and pay the shipping to that address. If you don't do this, 30 days since the purchase or the return, your parcel will be considered abandoned. I will not refund any money you paid. So, please be certain that I have the correct shipping address. I do not have the capacity to store items after purchase. This situation is a very rare occurrence, but it has arisen and, sadly, I needed a policy. :(
