wood cufflinks ...
Hello there, how are you?
My name is Javier Leite and this is a very short story on how this shop came to be.
My main hobby is photography, I have been doing seriously it for well over a decade, learning and (hopefully) improving all the while.
You can see my stuff on my photo website: www.javierleite.com
A little less than a year ago I started diversifying my hobbies. I just came to have more free time and wanted to try my hand at new things.
My father was a joiner back in the day. So wood always held a natural attraction.
I found a place near (enough) to Dublin where I could attend a few workshops on cabinet-making.
The place is www.hillpicketstudio.com near Avoca in Co Wicklow, and if you can I would recommend to take a look at them.
Anyway, at Hill Picket I am learning and developing wood-working skills, and I am loving every minute of it!
As you can imagine, in a woodworking workshop there is plenty of wood knocking about, and using leftover pieces I came up with the idea of making cufflinks.
That is how I started ...
