This item is exactly as described. While I would never purchase a real fur product which is new, buying one that is many years old did not leave me with any quilt from the purchase of fur. The area mentioned which requires some loving care can, I believe, be easily rectified by the use of a quality fur restorer ...perhaps a brown or black bow placement or even a jewelry like adornment which will hide the worn area. Seller was honest in description.
