justayayadesign's Shop Announcement

Greetings. I am temporarily closing my shop this afternoon as I prepare for my third and final hip surgery. This past eleven months has been certainly trying but I have learned so much about myself and my path to wellness. A big part of my wellness has been the gratitude I feel for so many things in my life. My Etsy shop is one of those things along with working here in my studio at home. The kind words and support I have received from my friends here on Etsy has been so amazing, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I plan on reopening mid-June, depending on my recovery. I hope to see you all then. Thank you again for making my 'work' world such a pleasure. Be well and keep dazzling. :) xo Karen

Have your eye on something? Need a bit of time before your purchase, let me know and I will reserve the piece for you, I only ask that you REALLY plan on the purchase. Please take the time you need to be comfortable making the purchase. One more thing, I always welcome a REASONABLE offer, do not hesitate to make one, if I have the wiggle room, I will make you a deal. Note: I will not be entertaining offers or discounts for items in The 5 and 10. These prices are really as low as I can go, I have no wiggle room in The 5 and 10. I am sure that is easy to understand, just want to be clear.

Hello, I am Karen Devnew, artist and jewelry designer and vintage jewelry collector. Welcome to my world of color, light, imagination, and magic. I have been artistic since I was a small child - a ya ya in some circles. Jewelry, weaving, macrame, painting, photography and pottery are just of few of my favorite mediums. I designed a YaYa crown for a birthday surprise for a friend and to my delight it inspired me to make jewelry again. Jewelry is my true passion. I have been a long time collector of baubles, beads, buttons gems, crystals, shells, and stones. My joy is the creation of wearable art I make each piece by hand personally. the color, the feel, the sound, and the visual impact of each piece is my art. My materials are of the finest quality. I work in my studio located in Norton MA. I am currently creating chi strands, altar pieces, mobiles, treasure chests, inspiration jars and crowns, in addition to my jewelry pieces. I will be focused on selling my vintage jewelry collection and hope you find something to delight you as it has delighted me. I hope something just catches your eye as well as your spirit, and you will enjoy wearing it, as much as I enjoyed creating or procuring it. I am so thrilled to be here. I am awestruck by all of the beautiful handmade and vintage pieces offered here on Etsy. I find it all so inspirational. I feel blessed to become a part of this community. It's a new day for me and for Just a Ya Ya Design and with an offer of gratitude, I welcome you. My healing continues and I just want to say how being back and working in my shop has been essential to my well being. AND as always thank you all for making my shop possible, I can't do this without you and for that I remain truly grateful.....
