About

Native American art, jewelry and fine craft.

I come from a long line of artist and fine crafters. I am a wolf clan member of the Oneida Nation, Onyota'a:ka , People of the Standing Stone. My grandfather was a renown wood carver and the last Oneida Chief of NY. He instilled a sense of culture through art and craft in our family which has lasted for generations

I needed an outlet other then the powwow trail to sell my art, so I decided to try Etsy. I thought a place which specializes in handmade would be the place to sell my art and jewelry.

I started making jewelry as a child, helping my aunt and uncle at pow wows. Eventually my parents started going to shows as well, and when thy got tired of selling food, they switched to crafts and a my summers were busy making crafts and then gong on weekends to pow wows to help sell(or watch my younger brother and sister). As I grew older, I started making crafts for myself, like beaded lace bracelets, where I got to keep the money. By the time I was 16 I had my own section in the booth.

Now, my family still makes Native American crafts and art and only occasionally travel to pow wows (Native American festivals). This shop is a great outlet to get my craft and jewelry out there in the world.

I should note I do make all my own jewelry, art and crafts in my shop.

Hi welcome to my shop. My art philosophy is "simple yet elegant", and I try to remember this motto everytime I create something new. All my pieces are handmade by me, Jessica. If you see something you like and want a slightly different color, such as feathers or beads, I may be able to oblige, just send me a note.

Payment
I accept paypal as payment. It seems to be the easiest way for you as customers to pay. You don't actually need to open a paypal account, you just need a valid credit card, or a bank card which you can use as a credit card. They make it very convinient.

If you need help making a payment please refer to the link: http://www.etsy.com/help_guide_checkout.php

I ship USPS first class, so please allow 5 to 7 days for your purchases to arrive. If it is different, I will post it in the item description.

I have added international shipping, first class. I have not shipped internationally yet, so please feel free to inquire before you purchase to see if I have had experiences with this type of shipping yet. It is my understanding at this time, first class will take 7 to 14 days.
