Kamapu

Creator of artisanal jewelry in copper and bronze

Announcement    Hello and welcome!

I have always been passionate about the world of jewelry and the world of creation.
I had the opportunity to leave 6 months in Chile in 2014, then again 6 months in 2016, where I learned the techniques of jewelry from different creators.

The techniques are similar but never the same! Back in France, it is therefore quite natural that I wanted to continue the creation and from there was born Kamapu (siret 830 631 917 00010)

Kamapu means "distant land" in the Mapuche language. The Mapuche peoples come from a part of southern Chile and Argentina.

A predestined name! You will find here all the jewels, which I make entirely myself, and by hand, in my studio in Lyon. I work from plate and do not use any molding.

I also offer jewelery classes to come and make his jewelry (more information on my site in the following link).

Do not hesitate to follow Kamapu on its Facebook page, in order to benefit from information, preview offers, stages of manufacture and competitions www.bijoux-kamapu.fr

You can also follow me on Facebook and Instagram.
For any questions, contact me, I will answer you as soon as possible!

Bye,
Sophie

Sophie, Designer of silver, copper and brass jewelry.

Hello and welcome!

Always passionate about the world of jewelry and the world of creation, I took advantage of two long stays in Chile in 2014 and 2016, to learn the techniques of jewelry from different designers.
Back in France, it was quite naturally that I wanted to continue on this path and from there, Kamapu was born (siret 830 631 917 00010), which means "distant land" in mapuche language (indigenous people from southern Chile and Argentina).
All my jewelry is entirely handmade from silver, brass and copper in my workshop in Lyon, France).

All my silver jewelry is "signed" by affixing my hallmark. This "hallmark of responsibility" is nominative, obligatory and attests to the authenticity of the jewel on all precious metal coins (silver, gold ..)

A unique jewel? I make tailor-made pieces (wedding rings too!). We will be able to discuss together your beautiful project.

I also offer introductory courses in jewelry. You can come and make your own jewelry.

You can also follow me on Facebook and Instagram or come and meet me directly at the workshop!

For any questions, contact me, I will answer you as soon as possible!

Frequently asked questions
Care instructions

It is quite normal for your jewelry (silver, copper or brass) to patinate over time. This is due to your skin, your sweating, the passage of time...I do not advise you to put your jewelry in contact with water (showers, swimming pool, cleaning products ...), in particular, jewelry that contains leather, as well as sleeping with it, or doing sports. If, unfortunately, and despite all the care I take, a jewel breaks within 2 months of purchase (as part of normal use), contact me.

Allergies

In case of allergies (it can happen), there is an anti-allergy varnish that you can find in pharmacies or on the internet.I also inform you that I make every effort to limit the risk of allergy. The apprets are made of brass guaranteed nickel-free and lead-free.The varnishes used are not applied to the parts in contact with the skin.

The products used

For jewelry, I use different metals (silver, copper and brass), but also stones, leather, pearls .. the composition is specified in each product sheet. In case of doubt, do not hesitate to ask me the questionTo limit the oxidation and patina of jewelry, I use a finishing varnish.I do not apply it to the parts in contact with the skin to prevent possible allergies. (ex: earring rods, bracelet interiors, rings ..).

Gift wrapping and packages

Shipments in metropolitan France are made by tracked mail or colissimo. I always give the tracking number. If you were not satisfied with the product received, I invite you to write to me to warn me.From that moment on, if you are within the withdrawal period (14 days after receipt of the package), I will tell you the steps to follow in order to obtain the refund. It should be noted that the return costs are at your expense (unused product, in the original packaging, and sending by tracked mail or colissimo). In case of partial or total loss or destruction of the product, I will not be able to issue a refund under any circumstances - so it is important for you to protect it well for the return.
