5 out of 5 starsThe bowl I ordered had just sold out and so Karen made me a new one and for what I wanted, colour-wise, it's actually even better than the one pictured. It's beautiful and so tactile. It looks and feels like a one off (which of course it is) with lots of character. Karen kept me up to date with her progress, letting me know when my bowl had gone into the kiln and letting me see a photo of it when it came out in case I wanted to change my mind. A good experience and a beautiful bowl. Heartily recommend.

Handmade Pottery from the East Sussex countryside, unique and beautiful using locally sourced clays.
Karen Easter Ceramics is a home pottery studio based in the East Sussex countryside.
All of our products are handmade by Karen Easter, trained award winning ceramicist and artist.
Karen’s products are made on the wheel, using traditional hand throwing methods, and glazed by hand. The clays used are a variety of stoneware, volcanic clays and porcelain.

Gift wrapping and packaging
I will aim to send your item out to you the same working day. It should be with you in a couple of days after purchase.
Custom and personalised orders
Should you require an item which is out of stock or a custom order please contact me directly and I will aim to make your piece within 3-4 weeks depending on my workload.
Care instructions
Most of my items are dishwasher safe but to ensure longevity please wash by hand.
