5 out of 5 starsI waited a long time for this bead to reappear in the shop. Well worth the wait. Somewhere between bone and stone, the weight is substantial but not heavy. Looks ancient and handmade, which is a high standard.

Jewelry made with joie de vivre!
Etsy is a wonderful venue for small scale artisans. I work from my home studio in Southwestern Ontario. When I discovered this wonderful Etsy way to get my work seen by people all over the world who appreciate artisan work, I was so pleased.
My garage is set up as my lampworking studio, and I'll tell you honestly, it's usually a messy, creative clutter! I do the metal smithing and assembly work in my inside studio.
Thank you for stopping by!

I've been making jewelry of some kind for practically my my whole life. What I enjoy most now is lampworked glass, kiln cast glass, fine silver metal clay and metal smithing. I love how it all comes together.

I'm sorry but I don't have layaways. I will do reserves but only for 24 hours.
Shipping
I ship twice a week, usually on Tuesdays and Fridays. There is no Postal pickup on Saturdays or Sundays where I live.
Many customers live in countries where their Postal Systems collect VAT and also charge a service to do so. I am unable to know what these costs will be, and do not collect or submit them. Usually your post office can help you find out what they might be. VAT is never included in my shipments.
I put the exact sale amount on customs forms.
PLEASE NOTE: I am happy to combine all of your items for shipping, including items purchased from my handmade lampwork beads shop here on Etsy, www.karenelmquist.etsy. The shipping price depends on the final weight of the package. When you are done shopping, I will calculate the actual shipping and promptly refund any overpayment.
