Another amazing ring from Karen. I'd had my eye on this for a while and it's perfect. I love the look the feel and style. Karen's after care is also second to none. I never wore rings til I found Karen's shop. They're perfect

This is SUCH a stunning necklace. My siblings and I purchased it for our mom, and she loves it- the chain is also lovely and the colors of the stone very vibrant. It also came in a very pretty gift box. I would highly recommend!

A jeweller’s life
My love affair with jewellery started over thirty years ago as an art student. I loved the versatility and the sculptural elements of jewellery and was hooked.
I studied for a degree in jewellery design in London, and when I left, tentatively started creating my own work. It was a long road and I tried out many different things, sculptural art pieces, accessories for catwalk shows and commercial collections for shops. The latter was the most successful and from a studio on the river Thames in London which I shared with a textile designer (Amanda Ross, you can find her on Etsy too!) I had the pleasure of supplying shops like Liberty of London and Barneys New York. I worked with designers like Paul Smith and Ben de Lisi and my work even led me to a reception at 10 Downing Street. However the thing I enjoyed the most was sitting down with a customer and making something just for them. I would end up with many new friendships with people that commissioned my work. It was a delight.
Life changed dramatically in 2004 when my first child arrived. We left London for an easier life in the country and now after another child and lots of house moving, we are finally settled.
So now we get to my working life part two. I make mostly custom work these days and have recently opened a studio nearby where you can make an appointment to visit and discuss a commission.
Etsy is brilliant as it gives me the freedom to make the work I like and I get to converse with people from all over the world.
Most of all I love the flexible lifestyle it offers, vital for a working parent.
