Sewing has always been my thing and I’ve happily made a living at my sewing machine for over 25 years. As well as making the range of woolen accessories you see here in my Etsy shop I am a also a part time dressmaker and a part time sewing teacher. Don’t ask me choose because I enjoy doing them all!

While living in the States my business consisted mainly of up cycling wool sweaters into bags and accessories and selling them online and at local craft fairs. In 2013 my family relocated to the UK and I had a hard time (well, an impossible time) finding enough wool “jumpers” to upcycle into bags and I began to get bored. I took a job in a local dressmaking shop and as luck would have it one day a customer popped his head into the shop and asked “would anyone here like to buy a knitting machine fairly cheap?” I bought the machine and have been knitting my own wool fabric ever since. Now instead of scouring the charity shops for wool to recycle, I pour over my lambswool color card and dream about lovely new color combinations for my hats and bags. Life is good when you are willing to adapt!
