The idea that made it happen:
I love to make art and being able to sell it is my dream job. However it isn't easy to make it work with the competition of the entire internet. I didn't have much luck selling art until I started making custom maternity tees. I made a skeleton shirt for my pregnant friend for Halloween in 2009, after posting it for people to see I realized there was a market for the design. From 2010-2012 I mostly did a simple fetal pose for the baby. In 2012 I bought a batch of shirts with a lower neckline than my usual tees and had to get creative. The Ninja Baby was born! Or rather immortalized in the womb ;) Since I made the ninja design I have sold enough to say that this is my business, not just a hobby. As a bonus my custom designed shirts have taken off as well, which I love doing.
Many are surprised that I hand paint every shirt. To be honest I tried screenprinting and I hate doing it. Iron-ons quite simply are too low quality. Hand painting is the only way for me to get a long lasting, beautiful design that is customizable. I love that every customer is getting a piece of handmade art; not just another machine made, impersonal product.

Owner, Maker, Designer
Everyone has their dream and mine has always been to do art for a living. I am a stay at home mother of a 4yr old and a 2yr old. I have a degree in Fine Arts and am so happy to put it to use with my own business here on Etsy.
Painters And Babysitters :)
Without my super supportive family I quite simply couldn't do near as much as I am now! My mom and sister help me paint, my sisters and in-laws babysit, and my husband handles the taxes. And of course my babies are my inspiration. Love you all!

For anyone outside of the USA please contact me and I will get you a shipping quote.
Canada is set for first class shipping(14-25 days) for an upgrade to priority please email me.
There is also an express shipping upgrade fee on my shop page, for USA customers only.
In the past I have had tax applied to my shirts to international EU countries, I do not agree to pay this extra tax as the law says it must be paid by the customer.
Refunds and Exchanges
I custom make most of my items when they are ordered and therefore can not accept returns unless the very unlikely happens and there is some kind of damage, or I messed up your order somehow. Do contact me if you have any issues though and I will do what I can.
In the case that you need to exchange your shirt for a different size, I am usually willing to paint a new shirt provided I have your size in stock. Email me to set up an exchange before anything, of course. The customer will need to pay for shipping the exchanged shirt, and I will only send out the new shirt after I have received the first one back in good condition.
If you get the wrong size and are unable to exchange your shirt (your due date is too close, etc.) and you want to return it, you are responsible for the shipping fees and after I receive the unwashed/unworn shirt back then I will refund the shirt cost only.
Additional policies and FAQs
For custom orders:
I do a sketch of the design before I paint it and email it to you, however paint is very different from pencil and therefore there is no guarantee the shirt will be identical to the sketch. Please request a picture of the shirt before I send it if you like.
