Two sisters that enjoy working together to create fun, new creations.
In our home, we grew up where sewing and recycling were a way of life. Our maternal grandmother was a dressmarker before she married our grandfather. They had a self-sustaining farm and raised three daughters. Her sewing skills were quickly put to use making dresses, furnishings for their home and gifts for the family. Our paternal grandmother seemed to have quilting in her heart. Among her many quilts made of outgrown and worn clothing, she always made a double wedding ring quilt for each of her grandchildren when they were married.
Guiess we just "caught the bug" to create and sew. We made doll dresses and pajamas when we were old enough to sew with a needle and thread and then graduated to a Singer Featherweight while we were in junior high school.
The thought of creating items that others might enjoy was such an exciting idea to us that we started participating in a few craft shows, but the schedules didn't always suit our busy lives. We learned about etsy and the lightbulb went off in our heads: why don't we sell our items on etsy so we can work when time allows? So, we have participated in etsy for a few years now and we are pleased with the way we can work with etsy and they work with us, constantly helping and educating us to become more successful. Thank you etsy!
Owner, Two Sisters/co-owners
We love to design and create fresh, new ideas. Sometimes we work together, brainstorm and then again sometimes on our own, but we always confer before the project is completed.
