About

I was born to create!

I knew from an early age that I had a brighter than normal creative spark inside of me. It started with doodling and coloring when I was little. I can still remember my mom teaching me how to draw a simple face using the letter "U". When I was 8 years old I learned to knit from my best friend's mother. By the time I was a teenager, I was creating with anything I could get my hands on. I made really intricate friendship bracelets for all of my friends, dabbled in pottery, learned paper folding and all sorts of crafts to fill my heart's desire. I made a LOT of those loop potholders back in the day.

Fast forward to 2007. I had just discovered Etsy and knew that I wanted to sell my creative stuff to people. I always had, I just didn't know how, and Etsy was the gateway for me. I made a neat pair of sugar skull earrings out of paper clay and acrylic paint and posted them for quite a paltry sum. Three days later, I sold those earrings and I will never forget that feeling that the earrings that I had made would be worn and loved by someone who was quite far away from where I lived. I thought it would be that easy all of the time, and it wasn't. I worked a steady full time job while my shop lingered in the background, waiting for the day when I would have more time for it. I received sales here and there, but I was always afraid to quit my day job to pursue my dream of creating full time.

Until now. In November of 2015 I quit what was a fairly lucrative job in the banking industry to pursue what I love. I had missed my shop over the years and how much joy it had brought to all of those who took a chance on me and bought my work. It brought me so much joy as well. So I'm back. I have learned even more techniques that I am very excited to introduce into the shop, and even more excited to share with the world! I am hoping that you will once again take a chance on me, and know that when you do, that I am here putting all of my heart and soul into doing what I love. My creative spark has now grown to a fire. There is no greater joy for me than that. :)
Thank you for supporting handmade!

Welcome! Have a look around and make yourself at home!

I really enjoy working with new techniques and materials and really getting to explore my creativity. Most of my inspiration comes from nature, and I grew up among lush forests and rolling hills, where every day is magical and new.

My philosophy is simple:
Karma~You get what you give. ^_^
