Announcement
I've come back online after a hiatus that was meant to last a few weeks and ended up lasting several years. I'm only now trying to clean up and organize a lot of stuff from that timeframe as I figure out the future. But regardless of where my current endeavors take me, I can't see a sustainable way to keep up the vast and expensive stock I had to maintain to offer the huge variety of products and formulas that I did. So I'm dusting off this account to give me a place to put some things as I figure out what to keep, what to discontinue, what to tweak, where to focus, and what I might have missed in the interim about what folks are interested in these days.
If you were a Karma Zain customer between 2002-2015 and want to know what was going on (and what my plans are for finishing up some unfinished business), you can get caught up at seraphinstation.com. To see my newer art and altar stuff, find the new shop on Etsy at Seraphin Station https://www.etsy.com/shop/SeraphinStation.
Spiritual supplies, hoodoo, voodoo, & Catholic saints items, candles, mojo bags, condition oils, spiritual jewelry, custom charms and talismans, roots and herbs, voodoo art. Home of the authentic Big Lucky Hoodoo chicken foot charm and the original voodoo rosary (you saw it here first). Doing hoodoo way before it was cool :)

Karma Zain Spiritual Supplies
I am not a huge retail shop with a storefront. My products are home- and hand-made and I don’t spend a lot on fancy labels or packaging. I sew my own mojo bags, for example, and since my momma and her momma and *her* momma were too busy teaching me folk cures, thirty five ways to cook a plucked chicken, and a dizzying list of patron saints and herbal applications, I never became much of a seamstress. The good news is that this stuff doesn’t have to be pretty to work.
The better news is that this frees me to devote time, energy, and money to getting, making, compounding, dressing, growing, blending, and/or preparing higher quality, authentic herbs, roots, oils, charged and blessed candles, animal and mineral curios, amulets, charms, and kits. I always ship discreetly and my lack of fancy packaging means you spend less on high-quality, ritually powerful items. I strive to get the best quality I can in season, and my mother grows and/or prepares a lot of the herbs, roots, and animal/mineral curios I use, from her five acres of land in rural, deep-south Alabama.
I got into exchanging money and spiritual items with the public almost by accident. I have made my own ritual oils and incenses for many years, and did spiritual work on behalf of myself and my friends and family. After a while, a friend would tell a friend, and I was getting requests from people who were essentially strangers for these things, and I was going broke giving my stuff away. So I started charging. Then I started offering some products, services, art, and supplies on the internet in the early 00s when I returned to the States after a few years overseas, and have had a regular inventory and full product line since 2007. So I know my stuff, and I've been doing this a while; I'm not a newcomer to hoodoo jumping on the bandwagon of its recent rise in popularity.
I am proud to be a founding member of AIRR, the Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers. AIRR is a gathering of professional practitioners of African American folk magic, hoodoo, conjure, and rootwork who provide psychic readings and spiritual root doctoring services to the public. AIRR promotes quality service and ethical conduct by means of accreditation and evaluation of its members, all of whom are vetted, interviewed, vouched for, and tested before qualifying for membership.
Be sure to visit my blog, Big Lucky Hoodoo, at karmazain.livejournal.com for news, info, tips, tricks, spells, suggested reading and recommended links, and sales & specials. To see more photos, of jewelry, folk art, voodoo and hoodoo rosaries I've made, and altar work I've done for clients, visit me on facebook and/or see my flickr stream.

International Buyers Please Note: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying. Customs fees are normally charged by the shipping company or collected when you pick the item up. These fees are not additional shipping charges. We won't under-value merchandise or mark the item as a gift on customs forms. Doing that is against U.S. and international laws. International orders may be delayed by customs and sellers have no control over these delays.
Customers from Italy and Australia are advised to write first before purchase about the items they plan to order. Customs and agriculture can be notoriously tricky in these countries, and orders to Italy and Australia are risky.
If the shipping profile settings don't work properly, send me a note. I am happy to make a private/custom listing for you containing the items you want in one listing.
Additional policies and FAQs
Most items have a one-week handling time, except for custom orders, which average about 10-15 business days but will vary depending on the customization. Handling time for large orders, bulk orders, orders with several custom items like pakets or mojo bags, and international orders will often take longer than usual. It takes me about ten days to do a mojo bag. If you order multiple mojo bags, you should not presume I can make them all simultaneously.
My handling times are what they are because I personally prepare and ship each item in my store - each order gets my personal attention. It is not made/mixed until you check out. This way you get it fresh with the longest possible shelf life. My goal is personal attention rather than assembly-line order processing - this is what makes me different from larger sellers with large stock already made and packaged. My repeat customers prize the personal attention they get. If speed is more important to you, though, you can buy pre-made items off the shelf at plenty of other places online, and they will ship a lot quicker than I will. See item details for the specifics of the item you have ordered or want to order.
I am not open and do not ship on weekends or federal holidays. I do not have any way of telling you how long it will take for your package to reach you after I take it to the post office. Delivery times are sometimes longer than the published estimates, but in over ten years of business, I've seen only two (out of thousands) of orders not arrive by the 20th business day from the ship date (and both of these were due to customs in overseas destination). The USPS is actually very, very reliable. For the latest, most up-to-date information on holidays, issues causing delays, store closures, or other status issues, see the website at seraphinstation.com.
All sales are final. I cannot restock most of my items as they are individually prayed over or otherwise custom-finished pieces, or are consumables such as herbs, salts, and oils that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. But if there is a problem with your order when you receive it, contact me for how to proceed.
If you purchase jewelry or rosary item that I have made myself, I will repair it if it suffers normal wear and tear, whether it's a week or a year after you purchase it (assuming repair is possible). Please note that wearing ritual jewelry or prayer beads out to go dancing or to the gym or beach is not normal wear and tear!
