I love this art print. It is printed on very thick quality paper. It was packaged with care and arrived undamaged all the way from Poland to Texas. Obviously, I knew it would take a little while to get here, which was not a problem. I love this picture and I can't wait to get it framed and hung up on the wall. Thanks!

Beautiful prints, good thick paper. Mine had gotten a little bump during shipping, so it was slightly bent in one corner, but it doesn't show when you but it in a frame. I am tempted to by more prints in the future!

Little original watercolor painting and the big art print of it (B2) :D
That's the very first print that I've ever shipped to Singapore (or even Asia)!
WOW!
This 18x24" art print looks just as good as the original watercolor painting!
I'm packing it for the journey to USA :)
It's such a nice feeling to wake up and see a new 5 star review! Made my day :)

About

Piece of the Sun for everyone!

I feel really privileged that at the age of 27, I can look at the world through the eyes of a child – admire the colors and shapes, as if I saw them for the first time. World is very beautiful in my eyes. Colors are always intense and perfectly matched, light brings out the subtle beauty out of ordinary things and I can’t help but stare in amazement.

Since I was gifted with such sensitivity to beauty, you’d think it was just a matter of time for someone like me to fall in love with art.

And art did charmed me when I was 4 years old and saw my older friend drawing a horse. It made me realize I don’t have to draw the same things constantly (by that I mean rainbow and a very crooked house with fern:P) and that - if I have enough imagination - I could draw anything I want. That thought delighted me the most.

Once I started to draw, I never stopped. Through my whole life I had played with various media and subjects and kept learning on my own. I’ve been drawing and painting from nature, photographs and my imagination. Usually I had to improvise and act as my artistic intuition told me to, because all that my art teachers ever did for me was coming up with a subject I should draw. They never had much to say and I’m not sure if I’m more sad that I didn’t have the opportunity to learn more from somebody or happy that I had opportunity to develop my own personal style because of it.

Drawing is always a real adventure to me, because I never know what would emerge on paper. As if I’d released some mysterious power, which could take control over my left hand through the whole creation process.

Though I’ve been drawing for 23 years now and have enormous experience, I still feel the same thrill when I buy new sheet of white paper.

I tend to get very lost in creating, and when the artwork is finished I’m just shocked that I can draw (or paint) like this.

It always feels like something is missing when I don’t hold a pencil or watercolor brush in my hand. Only when I’m creating I feel really calm and I know that I’m doing what I was supposed to do. I guess, you could say that creative work started to define who I am at some point, so I figured it was right moment to turn it to something more than a hobby – a way of living.

I studied Architecture at Warsaw University of Technology, but I I’m not working as architect at the moment. Don’t get me wrong - and I like designing. Only I LOVE drawing much more and I decided that focusing on my biggest passion would be a good thing to do.

I’ve been my own boss since August 2012, when I founded an Art School KRESKA in my hometown (Radom) in Poland. I am working there ever since, trying to teach teenagers and young adults everything I know so they would pass some very hard entrance drawing exams on the faculty of Architecture. Many of my former students are already studying Architecture or Interior Design on various polish universities and I’m very proud to say that I must be good at what I’m doing:)

(you can check the best works of my students – and maybe follow my Art School - by clicking the Facebook link at the bottom of this page)

I like teaching almost as much as drawing. It gives me the opportunity to make constant progress and use my other talents as well – I think I’m quite a good writer (in Polish – please don’t judge my English writing!) and I got to use that talent while preparing some descriptive step by step tutorials and other materials for my classes.

I think that as an artist, I have an obligation to turn my talent into something good and I’m surely doing so by teaching. This is the most obvious way to share my talent with others. It just feels right for me. But it doesn’t mean that every artist should teach. There are many ways a person could contribute for society.

Someone told me few years ago that he had to visit website of my Art School every day just to look at some of my paintings even for a couple of minutes. I didn’t know my artworks were THAT good till then. It was always me admiring the talent someone else before. I was probably ready to start selling my works worldwidely back then, but it took me some time to believe in myself and realize how unique my talent is.

I think I get it now. So here I am, starting my very first Etsy shop and hoping that this experience would bring me some new amazing possibilities. I also truly love the opportunity to share my work with customers all over the world and see their reaction.

The purpose upon my every creation is to encapture one of those brief moments in life when you see something so indescribably beautiful you could just die there with no regrets. I know now that not everybody sees the world the same way I do, and I really hope that through my drawings and paintings I’m showing others some of the beauty I can see.

I would be the happiest person on earth knowing that my art makes someone smile everytime he looks at it.
