I am the worst when it comes to reviewing consistently, so let me take advantage of the space here to say that I have loved absolutely everything I've ordered from this shop. Everything is so well-made, comfortable, and flattering. If I were my mother, which I suppose is inevitable, I'd say I really dig the vibe of this shop! As for this particular bra, I love the color. Very flattering for pale skin.

Great quality, runs slightly small.

I ended up with the seafoam roses bralette, and I absolutely love it. I'd gotten the pink a while back in a size small and decided to size up this time. It fits perfectly, and the color is beautiful.

Very comfortable, and they match the bra I'd gotten previously!

About

Creating clothing to live your dreams in.

Katastrophic was created out of my desire to give people an alternative to mass produced clothing made with cheap (and usually unethical) labor and materials, driven by the disposable fashion phenomenon. I also wanted to make clothing that enables people to express their individuality rather than feel pressure to fit into whatever is "trending" or "in season". I wanted to design clothing that has it's own distinct aesthetic, but also has the ability to be interpreted and styled in many ways to fit different moods and settings.

As an artist, I've always felt a need to express who I am through what I wear. I choose outfits and colors that reflect both my mood on a particular day, and my personality overall. I always want to wear clothes that are expressive, rare, and lovely. Naturally, this has lead me to design clothing for people who have the same desire.

I tend to wear my handful of favorite clothing pieces (many from my own collections) several times a week. High quality is important to me because I want clothing I love to last a long time. I use the highest quality fabrics I can find, such as my USA grown and family milled organic cotton jersey and fleece, instead of the most "cost effective" or cheapest option. Quality not only makes a garment last, but adds to it's beauty. All Katastrophic clothing is designed for people like myself who value quality over quantity.

Beautiful clothing is almost pointless if it is not comfortable. I've learned that I feel best in pieces that make me physically comfortable almost more than clothes I think just make me look good. In Katastrophic, you never have to choose one over the other. I always test designs by wearing them both around and out of the house to make sure they function well, feel good, and fit perfectly. This means you can wear Katastrophic to ride your bike, have a lunch date, or go to a party with equal comfort and style.
