Announcement   PLEASE NOTE: MY STUDIO WILL BE CLOSED MAY 9-JUNE 3. Orders placed during this time will be shipped June 5th. Thanks!

DON'T SEE THE PIECE OF ART YOU'RE LOOKING FOR? Not all of my originals are listed in my shop. I'm happy to list the piece you're looking for or we can schedule a studio visit if you're in the Seattle area. I also sell as a craft vendor at the historic Pike Place Market in Downtown Seattle. Please contact me for my schedule via my email or text kateendle [!at] earthlink.net or 206-383-9535. My days at the market vary depending on my freelance schedule and the season.

NEW ETSY SHOP! My new ink collages, along with my husband's art, (singer songwriter Chris Ballew, lead singer for The Presidents of the United States and also known as children's musician, Caspar Babypants) can be found at Eclectic Whimsey: https://www.etsy.com/shop/EclecticWhimsey?ref=hdr_shop_info

• I CAN PRINT LARGE PRINTS! Please contact me if you are looking for images larger than 8x8" or 8x10". I can go as large as 10x10" 12x12", 11x14", or 12x16".

• COLLAGE ON CANVAS: original, one of a kind collages are on stretched acid free canvas with a decorative 1.5" edge. They're easy to hang or set on a shelf. They're created with cut paper and adhered to the surface with archival glue. Each collage is sealed with an artist grade matte medium and finished with a final coat of UV filter artist grad non-yellowing varnish. This will protect your art from fading. However, as with any art, do not display in direct sunlight.

• PRINTS: created from original collages, I scan my original art on an Epson printer and print them on Epson Fine Art Velvet Paper which is acid free and 100% rag. I use the top of the line Epson 3880 printer. The prints are fantastic looking; sometimes looking better than the originals!

• DON'T FORGET: I also sell magnets, books, cards, note card sets, CDs, and pendants!

LIVE IN SEATTLE OR PLANNING A VISIT? I sell my art as a craft vendor in the historic Pike Place Market in Downtown Seattle. Email me at kateendle [!at] earthlink.net or text 206-383-9535 to check my selling schedule. Venue, in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, regularly sells my work, too.

We own all the Kate Endle/Caspar babypants books. My kids love them and now I'm giving them as gifts. Very unique, and the songs make it awesome for those that love music. This is one of their favs.

About

Kate Endle Collage makes sophisticated whimsical art for adults and children alike!

I have been illustrating professionally for over 25 years, but really, I've been an artist my whole life. I graduated from The Columbus College of Art in Design, in Columbus, Ohio, with a BFA in Illustration. I sell my original art and prints, I write and illustrate children's books, and license my images to home decor and paper products. My partial freelance illustration client list includes American Greetings, Chihuly Museum of Garden and Glass, Hallmark, The Land of Nod, Papyrus, Madison Park Greetings/iPOP, Modern-twist, Sasquatch Books/Little Bigfoot, Sesame Street Workshop, and Washington Mutual.

I am married to children's musician Caspar Babypants (aka Chris Ballew, twice Grammy nominated singer/songwriter for the rock band, The Presidents of the United States of America). I illustrate his album covers and we collaborate on writing and illustrating books for children. We live in the Pacific Northwest.

We often sell our work at Caspar Babaypants live shows, but you can also find me at a wide variety of craft shows and the historic Pike Place Market in Downtown Seattle. I rent a day stall table at the market and my location and dates vary so please contact me if you're planning a visit. I also can schedule visits to purchase artwork at my West Seattle studio. Email me at kateendle [!at] earthlink.net or text me at 206-383-9535

Welcome to Kate Endle Collage! My work is available in many different formats. Please read my store announcement and item descriptions for details. Also, do not hesitate to contact me with questions.

Reproductions of my images are strictly prohibited without my permission. I do appreciate bloggers featuring my work, but please include a credit line and/or a link to my website or Etsy shop. Again, reproduction and display is strictly prohibited and violates copyright law. Artists work extremely hard at creating a recognizable style. Although we can not police the internet and images available, KARMA SEES ALL!

I use a Epson Stylus Pro 3880 printer and my prints are printed on Epson's Velvet Fine Art Paper. Epson products are top of the line with extremely high quality inks and papers. As with any art, it is recommended to keep prints out of direct sunlight.

My original collages are created on an acid free surface using a wide variety of decorative and hand painted papers. Again, please keep your art out of direct sunlight. My art is sealed with an artist grade UV filter varnish. It will keep your art from fading and will not yellow over time. Because paper is an organic material you may notice a very slight change in color with some of the papers over time- this is natural. I have an extensive background in artist materials. I worked at Seattle Supply for over ten years and I have a BFA in Illustration from The Columbus College of Art and Design. I am well versed in paper and have an excellent knowledge of archive materials. Don't hesitate to contact me with technical questions regarding my style or finished product.

Your original collage can be dusted with a dry or damp rag. The collages are sealed with a polymer based varnish so colors and texture will not be disturbed. Collages can be hung in bathrooms that have showers. The collage will not be affected by in a well ventilated room. However, the backing paper that seals the back of the canvas may ripple.

I love custom orders! Contact me and we can work together to make sure you get the collage you're looking for. I can recreate images that are listed in my shop or on my website. Again, we can discuss details.

Turn around time for a custom piece is generally a couple of weeks. Once the piece is complete I will email you an image of the final product.
