I specialize in big light weight earrings because customers were always wanting something lighter. That is when I started incorporating mother of pearl into my designs. My ear wires are very good quality and I have had customers come back again and again telling me that they are surprised how non-reactive these ear wires are. If your ears get irritated when you wear earrings (pierced) try a little shea butter (Alaffia's "Africa's Secret" is my favorite because it is smoother than plain shea butter) or if earrings feel "too heavy" to wear very long, try the shea butter. It will cut down on the friction, and that is part of what makes the earrings feel heavy, or what makes your ear lobes red or "hot" - friction. I use it every day for ease of getting the earring in and never getting ear piercings infected or sore. You will be surprised how well it works.

It is still in Capitola's upper village next to Gayle's Bakery and has a large selection of my work. This is the translation sheet that comes with the earrings that have the Chinese characters stamped in sterling.

I have been working with my customers to make sure that they are completely satisfied with their purchase. Sometimes that means changing a bead so the earrings match an outfit. Sometimes it is getting just the right clip on finding. I realized long ago that if you're not happy with your purchase, you'll go somewhere else. I do everything I can to make sure you get what you want.
I started making jewelry when I was 14. In 1988 I opened Many Hands Gallery in Santa Cruz, CA and then in 1997 a second Many Hands Gallery in Capitola, CA (which I then sold to Lauren Warwick in 2007 and it is still there - next to Gayle's Bakery). The Santa Cruz Many Hands closed in 2002. I still sell my work at Many Hands in Capitola and Artisan's in Santa Cruz on Pacific Ave.
