katherinedunn's Shop Announcement

When buying more than 1 item, convo me first so I can see if I can bundled shipping. Some items, like tall lavender, must be shipped alone.

Visit http://www.apiferafarm.blogspot to buy books and read about the many animals. Visit http://www.katherinedunn.us for more art/photos.

Apifera Farm is a magical place where artist Katherine Dunn communes with fields and creatures. There she paints, writes, and makes raggedy messes, along with being mother to a working flock of sheep and a field of lavender. Many of the items here are stuffed with the farm's own lavender bud. Her work is collected internationally and her art is showcased on Sundance. She writes a popular blog and her first book came out in 2010.

The farm is also home to old and special needs goats, donkeys, ducks and more- many adopted from rescues. Katherine and her donkey have an annual pie party each year to raise money for other animal charities, and donated aprons help with the cause. Here on Etsy, her handmade items help maintain the many misfits they've adopted and now give a forever home too. She also donates art and money to other animals in need on a per need basis.
