I got ring set that was mismatched in sizes. The focal ring was one size larger than the rest. Seller eventually agreed to accept return for full refund, however did not agree to refund shipping costs, which since the fault was on sellers side, should be returned as a matter of basic professional responsibility. Response from the seller "Apparently because I didn't snap to and kiss your ass by changing my work schedule in order to accommodate your immediate desires, and swallow the shipping you're now feeling justified in threatening to complain with bad feedback." and " I don't care. Do and say whatever you like - share away. (...) I don't need or want customers like you." I do not think anybody should be treated the way I am, especially not on Etsy, where so many great artisans with proven professional integrity trade. Shame.

Me:"I'm happy to have you return the two rings. I can certainly make another focal ring & can also make a replacement for whichever of the gold bands you would prefer to replace- your choice." Asked how quickly I could replace the rings? "I'm going away for several weeks in early August and have many orders to complete before then, I would not be able to replace the two rings until after I return in mid August."Response:"Since you cannot work on it now, and frankly it does not look like you will work on this anytime soon(and actually who knows when), I would like to return the set for full refund including shipping charges." My reply: "Since that isn't to your liking and because you're obviously not happy I will issue you a refund" (minus shipping as per shop policy).

About

artist, crafter, maker, mother, gardener, cat wrangler, dog kisser, bike rider, wanderer

Having originally studied painting and drawing in my early years, then later, ceramics - both wheel and hand built, I came to jewelry making by teaching myself traditional metal working techniques. I love the fact that people can adorn themselves with small sculptural objects as a form of expression, and so for me jewelry making is a wonderful blend of art, design, utility and poetry.
Now after many years of renting studio space, my husband and I have had a studio of our own constructed on our property. It's here that I'm finding that light and space are both a most beautiful addition to the creative process. My jewelry studio is a loft that sits above my ceramic studio and looks out upon the greenhouse where we plan to grow plants and start seeds for growing organic fruit and vegetables for our family.
Now with the addition of a ceramic studio I can finally fulfill my dream of combining mediums and create ceramic and metalwork pieces of jewelry. I'll be introducing that new work in the year to come. So please stay tuned!

Frequently asked questions

Sizing details

Please be sure to double check your ring size before ordering a ring. You can purchase an inexpensive ring sizer on Etsy, or have your finger sized at a commercial jewelers shop.
You can request a change in length for necklaces or earrings. Just contact me via convo to let me know what your preference is. Added length of any significance will require a slight cost adjustment.

Care instructions

I include care instructions with each item purchased. Most pieces require occasional gentle cleaning in a liquid jewelry cleaner safe for silver, gold, stones & pearls. Avoid using an abrasive polish as this can remove delicate finishes and patinas. Store jewelry wrapped in archival tissue in a Zip Loc brand plastic bag to prevent tarnish and surface scratches.
Oxidized patinas will eventually lighten and wear away in areas that come in regular contact with skin and elements over time. Avoid polishing as this will remove the patina. To help maintain and protect oxidized patinas, you can occasionally rub the surfaces with Renaissance Wax ( archival wax ) or a few drops of oil. Remove any excess with a soft lint free cloth.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All jewelry purchases are packaged for gift giving and include a gift tag and care instructions. If you'd like a gift message included just let me know in the checkout comments, or send me a convo.
