I appreciate the effort to highlight my heart-town (as opposed to hometown). It is great to be able to wear it close to my heart. Beautiful quality.

Simply stunning! There are several hummingbird keychains listed on Etsy, but this one just stood out to me. It has such a lovely vintage look and feel, and it is of great quality. It even came with a tag explaining that the image is from a vintage book of birds (from the 40s) belonging to the shop owner/artist. The artist also included a sweet, handwritten note of thanks for my purchase. This keychain a beautiful reminder of my late grandmother and her sister, my Great Aunt. I would highly recommend this item to anyone looking for something special related to hummingbirds.

Old Made New in Washington
I love the sound of old paper...whether I'm opening a vintage map or riffling through the pages of an old dictionary. Carefully preserving these old treasures under resin allows for a keepsake for many years to come.
Since 2009, I’ve been devising, designing, and creating jewelry using old materials. It all started after my Grandma Kathy passed away in 2005. She left me her amazing collection of beads, buttons, broken costume jewelry, and jewelry-making tools. A percentage of proceeds from my jewelry sales is donated to ovarian cancer research organizations in memory of my grandma.
Each piece is created with something old, reclaimed, or repurposed, and made by me in my studio in Issaquah, Washington.
