Love the "Watch My Garden Grow" pattern and can't wait to make it. So happy Kathy included recommendations for embroidery stitches along with thread type and colors. It's also nice to have a reverse image with another choice of colors. Highly recommend!

I feel very blessed that my "job" is to create stitcheries and paint all day. I love to embroider, knit, rug hook, paint, garden, and pretty much anything that requires working with my hands. I think I inherited my need for handwork from my Grandmother and my Mom. Both women could never be described as idle. Although I haven't made nearly as many quilts as either one of them, I think I have surpassed them when it comes to embroidery. My favorite kind of day is sitting on my deck looking out at the beautiful trees in my neighborhood and working on an embroidery piece. If the weather doesn't want to cooperate (sometimes that happens in Oregon) I'm just as content to paint in my studio. Currently I design my own embroidery patterns and clip art illustrations and I also am fortunate enough to design fabric for Moda. I top all that off with a sweet hubby and I'm one lucky lady.
I design embroidery patterns, paint pictures, and design fabric for Moda. When I'm not in my studio I'm in my garden planting and pruning. Either way, I'm a happy camper!
