COVID -19 impact:
In addition to increases to fabric prices and availability, I work from my home studio, with intermittent virtual homeschooling I may see your message, but interruptions like “MOM!! I spilled a gallon of milk" and "the dog is barfing all over!" 🤦🏻♀️ are very real reasons responses have gone unanswered. Please message me again if I have not responded within a day!
If you have any questions, just DM me!

5 out of 5 starsKatie created an amazing basket liner to my specs of 3 materials. I am so impressed. I couldn't wait to attach it to my basket. Because I remove the basket from my Alinker (a walking mobility device, not a bike), I just had to fit it thru the handles of the basket. I absolutely love it. Katie was great to communicate with. It was well worth it to get something personalized!

Sizing details
You are ultimately responsible for measuring your basket, and providing measurements. (L,WxH) I try to get the latest measurements and base my patterns on those measurements. Always round up to the nearest 1/4 inch!
Manufacturers do change their sizes frequently and do not always update their website or product information. Even though your basket looks similar, it may measure differently than what appears.
I want a basket liner with a particular color/pattern/character
If the fabrics I have in stock are not your jam, vibe, or not quite what you want, I encourage you to find fabrics you love and send them to me. While I would love to travel all over the city, state and country to scour fabric stores, quilt shops, or online stores for you, It is extremely time consuming, and ultimately may not find exactly what you desire. Excellent sources are of course Etsy, Joann’s, Hobby Lobby, Fabric.com, and your local quilt shop. If you want something truly unique or off the beaten path, (like fabric with platypus, manatees or even your pets face, Spoonflower.com is your answer!
I want to send fabric to you, What kind should I buy?
#1: Quilt weight woven fabrics. These are fabrics you find in the quilting area of fabric stores. They are tightly woven, 100% cotton, have little stretch & feel soft.
#2 Apparel fabrics or duckcloth. -some are dry clean only.
# 3 poly/blend fabric, some are great & others can feel-bleh.
Choose a fabric that is washable! (Mud/dirt/sand are inevitable) if you are providing more than one fabric choose the same type. (cotton with cotton, duck with duck)
Not so great choices:
Silk or satin (unless your wedding involves a bike!)
Serape blankets -those cute fringe tassels on the ends keep the blanket from unraveling. A liner would unravel.
Knit, terrycloth, Minky-THE MESS!
🙅🏻♀️NO FLEECE- I have a whacked reaction to the feel of fleece🤢
How much fabric do I need?
Well, that depends on your basket type, and the accessories you’d like!
For most baskets, TypeA-E and some large, I need a total of 2 yards. This can be one yard of patterned fabric and one yard of solid.
I can squeeze most cup bands, zippered pockets, and key clips from 2 yards If you want ruffles or drawstrings from your fabric I’ll need an additional 1/2 yard. (So 1/2 yard for drawstrings, and 1/2 yard for ruffles = 1 yard)
Trike baskets need 3 yards total. This can be 1.5 yards of each of two different fabrics. Or 3 yards of one. If you want ruffles or drawstrings from your fabric, I’ll need an additional 3/4 yards of 1 fabric.
What else about choosing my own fabric should I know?
Keep in mind that some fabrics have a direction, Turn it (or your head) sideways, and if it looks "wrong", it has a direction. If it is a large repeating pattern, I’ll need 1/4 yard more. This will insure your pattern isn’t skewed or upside down
Fabrics with patterns: a large pattern on a small basket won’t show much of the pattern. Measure a 10x10 square of the fabric to get an idea of how much will actually show in your basket.
The opposite is that a small pattern won’t show in a big basket. Tiny polka dots in a trike basket will look one color.
I don’t see my basket in your list of baskets you have liners for!
If I don’t have your basket, I just have not been provided measurements for your basket! I need a picture, or link, measurements of the top, and bottom and the height. The base of the basket is one of the most important, and manufactures typically do not provide the measurements of the base. As long as the basket has 4 mostly equal sides, I should be able to make a liner!
