I started crafting at a young age and progressed in high school when I started cross-stitching. After years I picked it back up and my friends found them so entertaining they were asking me to make them items. After a little encouragement I decided to start a shop. After a few years of production and very low sales and views, I still enjoyed it though so why not, I was presented with an opportunity to produce some pieces for HBO's series Girls. After making pieces for the set decor I also did pieces for season two premiere and giveaways from getglue.com. All in all I have had a blast with just doing my little crafts, and that is how Needles and Pins was born.
I have 2 books published of finished printed designs through sourcebooks publishing. Due to a lot of websites write their own descriptions it’s been mislabeled as patterns. Myself nor my publisher okayed these descriptions and we are in the process of trying to get sites such as amazon to change the descriptions they wrote.
