About

Nail art is life!

I love nails! Unfortunately, mine don't grow long so I used to get acrylic nails done in a salon until one day, out of the blue, I became allergic to acrylic. Every time I touch it now, my fingers start to itch and swell 😭 Nobody in my area did gel extensions either.
I was so frustrated until I discovered I could buy & design my own glue-on nails. I discovered that nail art could be so much more personal, intricate and beautiful than the generic designs at the salons in my area. I started with nail polish then soon realized I needed gel to create the type of art that was in my Japanese magazines and that I saw online. So I practiced and practiced, and practiced some more. I read, joined forums, watched videos, took a few classes. It wasn't very good at first, but after months I began finally making designs I was proud of. Then people wanted them! And here we are. I opened my first shop in 2011 and had to take a break for a while so this is actually my 2nd Etsy store. I'm so happy to be back! 😊

Hi! All nails are designed, created, and shipped from my home studio in central Florida. I have been creating nail art since 2009 and started listing on Ebay in 2010. From 2012-2014 I was on Etsy. Now I am back :)

General Muse. Very wise. Halps by knocking things over and trying to sleep on top of the UV/LED light. Lets Kat know when her designs are not good.

Frequently asked questions

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

I cannot accept returns on nails for hygienic reasons. Make sure that you are certain of your size and ask ANY questions before buying! :) I offer S-L sizes for convenience but I always recommend giving me your custom measurements when possible for best fit! Don't forget to add 1-2mm if you have flatter nail beds!
If you need help measuring, send me a message or visit www.kawaiiclaws.blogspot.com
If you have a problem with your order, or if I made a mistake, please let me know. I will do everything I can to correct it asap!

How long will my order take before shipping?

Please check the shipping tab on the listings for updated wait times! Once shipped, most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 5 business days to arrive. Priority mail is 2-3 days.
International shipping delivery times may vary. I've had them arrive in 1 week and others arrive in 3 weeks! Depending on order volume, rush orders are usually available for an additional $10 for 1 set and $15 for 2 sets. Rush orders normally ship within 2-3 days. Just send me a message for more information!

How do I measure my nails for custom sizing?

Visit www.kawaiiclaws.blogspot.com for help. If you have more questions, just ask me!

Custom and personalized orders

I would love to!
Contact me and we will discuss it! Try to be as specific as possible with your ideas/color scheme.

Do you supply glue?

Of course! Glue is included for US orders along with nail file and cuticle stick. If you'd prefer adhesive nail tabs for reusing your nails just let me know in your checkout message along with your size and length preference. International orders receive nail tabs.

Will my order look identical to the listing photo?

Keep in mind everything is made to order and may not look identical to the listing photo. I'm always getting new pieces and sometimes I can't get the same pieces so occasionally I will substitute with something similar. As everything is made by hand and not by machine, there may be tiny, inconspicuous imperfections; however, I will always do my best to make them as perfect and well-crafted as possible!

Do you do rush orders?

In most cases, yes! If you need a rush order please contact me prior to ordering so I can create a special rush order listing for you. There is a $10 fee for rush orders and they will ship out in 2-3 days. This fee does not include expedited shipping. For more than 2 sets rushed it may be slightly more depending on designs.

How do I put them on?

Application Tips(all tools included)

-First, use wood stick to push back your cuticles and trim if necessary.
-Next, use nail file to remove the shine and smoothness from your natural nails. Very lightly so you don't damage your natural nails.
-Use alcohol wipe to clean your nail surface & remove any oil and dust.
-Determine which nail will fit on each of your natural nails. File where necessary.
-Apply thin layer of glue to your nail and the artificial nail. Apply as close to the cuticle area as possible, press and hold for about 10-15 seconds. If you use too much glue scrape it off while washing your hands with soap & warm water.
-For nail tabs, do the first 4 steps then apply tab to your nail, remove paper backing, and apply nail.

How will I remove them?

-If you want to wear the nails multiple times I recommend nail tabs for easy removal without damaging them. If you want them just let me know!
-After a while the glued nails will come off by themselves naturally. When they start coming off, remove the remaining nails by soaking fingers in warm water and using the cuticle stick to break glue bonds. If they're not ready to come off easily, dont force them because it can damage your natural nails.
-If you want them to come off easier, don't do steps 2 & 3 before glue application (see application tips in above faq question)

How long do they last?

There isn't really a specific answer for this as everyone is different. If you wear them with nail tabs, they can be worn multiple times (if you request them instead of glue I will send you 2 sheets of 12 tabs-enough for 2 uses. More can be found online like Amazon or Ebay). With glue and proper application, I've had them last about 4 weeks before I removed them because my nails were growing out. These are gel, so they are sturdier than normal press-ons but they can still break if too much stress is put on them. So if you aren't rough with them, they can last quite a while!
