I absolutely loved this pitcher. It was exactly what I wanted. The quality was superb! My shopping experience couldn't have been any better. I will definitely shop Etsy and Kaye Lane's line again. Thank you!

A masterful work of art! Commissioned this one of a kind piece as a gift. Kay sent drawings and kept me informed every step of the way. When received was so much better than the pictures. Love her work and highly recommend. I have had other transactions were her in the past and they have all been equally as best

This is one of many items that I have purchased from Kay....all of her pieces are so much fun and multifunctional! I use them for decorating as well as entertaining and they hold up beautifully without being super careful with them. I HIGHLY recommend working with Kay for anything that you have in mind....she is SUPER talented and will go above and beyond to to please! Thank you Kay for another beautiful piece!

Take it to the grill...load it wth ribs, steaks, veggies and on to the table for special presentation. What could be better than displaying you specialties on a hand crafted platter.

Influenced by the natural beauty of the Central Texas prairie surrounding me I create one-of-a-kind functional and decorative pottery pieces.

My degree from the University of Texas, Austin is in Art Education with emphasis in painting. Although I taught a few classes of middle school and high school art I went back to school and obtained a Master's Degree in History. I taught and worked in school administration for many years and upon retirement decided to return to my love of creative pursuits. Several workshops and classes later I realized that my passion lay with creating with clay. I love the manipulative quality and the ability to make so many variations with one medium. The possibilities seem endless and I am constantly experimenting. Clay challenges me to set new goals and provides countless opportunities to learn. It is also a humbling experience fraught with lots of failures and disappointments but the benefits far outweigh the trials. I also love teaching clay classes and lighting that fire in others.
