Somehow eastern, somehow western

When I was working for a company as a product planner, an antique jewelry shop opened in a department store next to my office. I met European antique jewelry there first in my life and was perfectly fascinated. I started collecting jewelry but soon I held a dream to make it by myself. I quit the company and entered a jewelry craft school where I took a training of the basic jewelry crafting with young classmates. I was 48 years old. Everybody around me said it was too late but I didn't think so because I had a dream and passion. During and after the school I got several prizes of jewelry competitions.
After a while I found another passion. Japanese traditional metal works. They are made by different alloys, different patinas, and of course different tools. But I don't want to duplicate the traditional styles as they were. I'm an artist. I combine my two passions, western and eastern tradition, and try to create my own style that might look somehow eastern but somehow western.

Please read the following policies carefully.
Once you order from me, you will be regarded as you understood and agreed with my shop policies officially and legally.
I can only accept Paypal as a payment method. The following credit card icons are posted by Etsy automatically. They just mean they are available via Paypal.

I gladly accept returns and exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
My refund Policy is very simple.
I make jewelry to make you happy. If you are not happy with it, I will refund 100%.
That's all.
All what I request you is sending me back what you bought from me in the original condition.
The shipping fee is on you.
After I check it out, I'll refund.

* IF THE PACKAGE IS DAMAGED when you get the parcel, please take a picture of it before you open it. It will help us a lot!
*I accept only Paypal.
I'm a seller in Japan. Japan is not eligible for Etsy Payments and Etsy Gift Card yet.

*The items are shipped from Japan. All international Duties and taxes are expected to be paid by the buyer. Please be aware of your local import duties prior to buying.

Because of he pandemic, I have to use an International shipping company to some countries. They strongly require your phone number. Without it, I can't ship.
Shipping is free as long as I can ship by Japan Post or Yamato international Tac Q bin. But Yamato delivers only limited cities and areas. I sometimes have to use UPS. In this case I have to ask you an extra shipping charge. If you live in Canada, Australia, and EU, please give me a message before you make an order.

*I will ship the item within 5 business days with a tracking number after confirming your payment. If something ( disaster, strike, private accident, pandemic of the new variant, etc,) happens and I can't ship within 5 days, I will ask you to wait for a while or if you want refund, I will do it.

*My liability ends after the package is sent.
I am not responsible for packages not to be delivered through the customer’s fault (not picking it up in time), and theft or loss on delivery. I provide a tracking number. Please talk with your local Post Office or the courier using this number.
I will refund ONLY:
1. after the case of loss is confirmed officially and insurance is paid.
2. after the package returns to me in case of non-delivery, not earlier. In this case I will refund the cost of the item, subtracted the shipping, PayPal and Etsy fees.

I'm so sorry for making you uncomfortable by this policy. I know most customers are good people. But Not-Delivered scams are going around in Etsy. I need to clarify my responsibility.

*I accept custom orders, too.
I'll show you some sketches or simulation Photoshopped photos, and their quote(s).
Usually the quote is available for 2 weeks. If the quote is expired, you need to confirm the price again.
The item is made for only you. Therefore once you order it, you can't cancel the order.
If you cancel it by any means, I can only refund a part of your payment.
The design sketches you didn't accept could be realized for my shop.

* My customer support
I don't want to make you worry about anything of the deal.
Here is my policy to support you.

1. One time re-sizing of the ring is free. So if you need resizing after you try it on, you don't need to hesitate to ask. But some rings can't be resized technically. Please ask me when you need it.
2. Re-patination, re-plating, and re-polishing are free.
3. One time chain length adjusting of the necklace is free. Some chains have an extender. I hope it covers your need.
4. Minor repairs are free. Please ask me the details when you need it.
5. I ship all of above(1-4) free. But you need to pay YOUR shipping charge to Japan. Thank you.
